• jintetsu description "Jintetsu is the central character of the manga. He actually dies within the first few pages before being revived as a cyborg by Genkichi. He does not gain any of the usual abilities attributed to partially mechanical men, but parts of his body do become their own weapons. For whatever reason, his benefactor saw it fit to have some of his limbs capable of ejecting blades and the like, allowing him to fight his battles in unorthodox ways (all the fingers in his left hand are actually blades). He is also incapable of digesting food, not without properly meshing before consuming it. He is initially portrayed as a cold blooded killer, where the look of pure hate in his eyes was enough for any man to freeze in their tracks upon facing him. However, as the manga goes on, it is revealed that he is actually rather altruistic, and follows a certain code of honor in deal with his mercenary jobs (not to be confused with bushido). Despite his job as an assassin-for-hire, he is more often seen rescuing or protecting people rather than committing to his assignments. He also reveals in various dialogue that he has no set destination, and is accepting that he will die in battle one day or on the side of a road. A bleak existence he doesn't mind living out. In the past, Jintetsu used to belong a rather powerful clan known as the Senjiro family. However, after his father was murdered, Jintetsu vowed vengeance and slew who he thought was his killer. His death becomes one of the more frequent things that haunt the drifter, as well as frequent encounters with those from his past. He was a childhood friend to a girl named Otsuki, who promised to await his return after he left, and continued to wait despite news of his death. He later returns to his hometown to bringjustice to both the Eizo family who he thought killed his father, and the Senjiro family for actually orchestrating the events. He also rescues Otsuki in the struggle. Seeing her childhood friend at last, she implores him to stay and tells him that she doesn't care what he has done or what happened to him. However, Jintetsu leaves her regardless, telling her that her friend was gone, and that he is nothing more than a ghost. He also meets Ryujiro, as man he once looked up to as a child, and Renji the Firewalker, a fellow assassin he frequently worked with. The two are actually seeking to kill each other, separating Jin's loyalties and making his emotions conflicted. He later decides to intervene regardless, and despite his best efforts, both die during combat. Renji leaves behind an adopted daughter, Makoto, who decides that with her "father's" death, she only has one purpose in life now: to kill Jintetsu and avenge her family. Likewise, he doesn't mind that she wants to kill him, seeing that it makes it easier to look after her if she's close. It is interesting to note that Jintetsu has a knack for dramatic appearances. He often enters combat at the most opportune times, and is usually accompanied by a flock of crows. He also does an incredible amount of deeds for the benefit of others, putting himself in precarious situations. More than once, he has framed himself for the murders of other, so as to bring the relatives, friends, or the killers themselves some peace. He also never speaks with his own voice, instead relying upon his sword to be his voice.".

He recently tried to attack Vera and Earth Beast. It is revealed in volume 8 that the person that killed Lighting Tiger, was Yuri Linus. In volume 9 Fire Dragon attacks Madoka and Hayato, after they protest of the training (lethal) given to Kombengi; Rud and Shin interfere and attack Fire Dragon, they are helped latter by Yuhwa, but still are no match, Gangryong appears and also attacks Fire Dragon (The only one of the fighters to land a hit on him), after Gangryong dispels a fire vortex and Vera appears, Fire Dragon calmly leaves the place. Later is shown that while he was moving and walking normally after the fight, he was injured to the point of vomiting blood. • jio-freed description " The main protagonist of this story, Jio is a boy with great battle skill, great trust towards his friends and an ability to persevere, but he also has an obsession with money and is not soon to show his feelings, often hiding them or blaming other factors. His dream is world domination, which other people often laugh at, calling it a child's dream until they see his abilities. Jio started his life without friends, the people in his village forcing him to leave after the death of his only friend Jin's parents for which he was blamed. He was later trained in the wild by a wolf, known as Zero. However, after completing his training he was chased away again, giving him a chance to complete his dream. His third friend, came in the form of Ruby Crescent, a girl in search of her father. At first, he helps her as a paid bodyguard, but leaves once she runs out of money. She ends up fighting a man claiming to be Satan, but the real Satan (sealed inside of Jio) easily beats him once Jio is knocked out. Once Jio is conscious again, he says he will follow her until she can pay him for saving her. He claims (in front of her) that he is only her bodyguard and nothing more, but Jio sees Ruby as a precious friend and even seems to have a crush on her. After having Ruby for a friend, Jio grows out to be more trustful, and slowly breaks away from his dream of world domination choosing to be more helpful and caring of others, quickly gaining more friends and meeting Mr. Wick and Mrs. Basil, which he sees as his father and mother (never having known his real parents). They were murdered by Kujaku, one of the Four Guardians of Zenom Organization. In Rock Bird, Jio is defeated by Anna in the preliminaries but the officials allowed him to move up due to the demon inside of him. After Jio's last fight, Satan begins to awaken but Ruby calms him. Rock Bird's leader dubs Ruby his 'Key' and kidnaps her. An enraged Jio runs to the top of Rock Bird with Ball to rescue her. Jio finds Ruby on the wall with the 'Devil's Pain' curse placed on her. Jio defeats the leader, who was also a demon, but not before Satan takes control. Shin shoots a laser which causes all souls to leave their bodies. In order for Satan to survive Cross's attacks, he absorbs Ruby's soul and Ruby releases Jio. Ruby stays inside of Jio to protect him against Satan. Post time-skip, he has become the leader of the cyclops village, and sets up a trade and supply route, next to sending 'some early cash' so that the village can survive, showing his leadership and skill with money. He currently is fighting Zenom together with the rest of the crew. A running gag post time-skip is that Jio always seems to forget about Ball, although he remembers everyone else perfectly. During the assault on the Stea republic to rescue Ruby, everyone was split up in battle. After being reunited, Jio was relieved that both Cross and Mei were alright, but didn't seem to notice Ball (even though he was standing right next to them) What really made Ball mad was the fact that he didn't know if Jio was doing that on purpose to make him mad, or if he really does tend to forget him. One explanation is that Jio is confident in Ball's ability and doesn't worry about him because he knows his friend can take care of himself in battle. It is also shown that Jio is from another planet called "Eden" the same planet that all the recipes are from. Jioh has been a trainee for years and hasn't debut yet, which makes him insecure. With his insecurity, he often threatens people that he would leave the company but everyone knows he wouldn't. Jioh appears to be very close with Shin Woo and Bum Suk. As HweeKang and Tae Jo arrive to JBL as trainees, he immediately takes a disliking to HweeKang since they're rivals. Though he does get along quite well with Tae Jo and even puts in the most effort to communicate in Japanese with him. One of Jioh's pet peeves is when someone talks about how he hasn't debut yet, especially when Harang throws it in his face. Ever since Jioh was a little boy, he was notorious for his good looks. His neighbors and parents would shower him in compliments, often telling him he was the most handsome boy in the world. Eventually, Jioh's good looks gained him a job as model for a famous fashion designer. Soon after that, he gained many request. Before Jioh went to JBL as a trainee, he already starred in various commercials, dramas, and two movies. One day, Jioh got sick of being a star. Making a huge fuss with his parents and agent to get him out of filming and schedules. Not too long after that, Jioh followed one of his friends to a NOBO-D concert. That was when Jioh saw JJ, the singer for the band, and was inspired to become a singer himself. After eight auditions, Jioh was admitted to JBL. With high confidence in not only his looks but potential talent, it was shattered when he figured out that there were seven other boys just like him. Jioh worked his butt off as a trainee and eventually became the only one left after three years. Jioh was always angry about how HweeKang, a new trainee, was doing a different vocal training regime then him. It is revealed that since Jioh has a "sweet voice" then he was to receive special training. Since Jioh is the only one who hasn't passed puberty then his main focus should be in rhythm, expression, and accuracy. What Jioh fears most out of all things is that Bumsuk and ShinWoo would debut before him and they would be separated. JaeBum reveals that the main reason why Jioh can't debut yet has to do with his looks. Though he has the rocker look, if Jioh were to mess up due to his ignorance with working in a band, then fans would assume the reason why Jioh could even become a star was because of his look instead of focusing on his talent.
