• sen-ichi-aoyama description "Akashi's best friend and enthusiastic football player. Aoyama is a senior student at Horimao High School. When he hears that Akashi plans on dropping footlball, Aoyama gets angry and reminds him of their promise: to become the best football players in the world. The agitated Akashi leaves, and Aoyama decides to apologise for his outburst. However, sending Akashi an SMS does not change their respective destinies. When his teacher's head explodes, Aoyama is forced to participate in "Daruma-san Has Fallen" and other games from the prequel. Aoyama barely survives the game "Cat's Bell" and is carried away on a stretcher. He is spotted by Akashi, who had just received his SMS. Akashi is held back by the police force that is investigating the game area and Aoyama is transported away from the scene saying, "Let's play football." The two friends are then separated. Aoyama manages to survive the first wave of games and escape his cube; however, he paid the price mentally losing all his memories and suffering from a severe case of PTSD. He has been so damaged by the games games that he mistakes the soccer ball Akashi and him promised on for a Daruma.".
