Kaname asked one of them what they were doing at Cross Academy. One of the vampires answered that it was because the Vampire Council had ordered them. Kaname then badly hurt him and he told the other vampires to leave. Once they left, Kaname went over to Yuki and asked her if she was okay, and was about to touch her face, but she backed away. Yuki then told Kaname that she didn't want to be treated like a child and won't speak to him until he truly admits that Zero is innocent. Later on, Zero was about to go in the shower when he saw Yuki's towel, so he stopped. He then went to the couch, lied down, and then had a dream of Shizuka Hio with blood, which he thought he killed her. Then she turned into Yuki, and then Yuki was crying while falling into his arms and the only thing he said was how good the blood smelled so Zero cried out Yuki's name. Yuki was sitting in front of Zero, drying her hair with her towel, so she was puzzled when Zero said her name. Then all of a sudden, Zero awoke, hugged Yuki, and was about to kiss her, but doesn't. Later, the chairman got a letter from the Hunter Committee in regards to Zero. ".

She is awakened by Kaname, and asks to stay to defend her friends. Kaname refuses, claiming that he had spent ten years protecting Yuuki, and asks her to stay in the room. After Kaname leaves, Yuuki convinces Hanabusa to allow her to leave and takes a gun from her Day Class Dorm room. As Zero sits in silence, Kaname arrives, claiming that Zero is the "knight" he has prepared for the past four years to kill Rido. He reveals that Zero has been strengthened by drinking the blood of three purebloods – Yuuki, Kaname, and Shizuka – and is the stronger twin child of a vampire hunter. When Zero tells Kaname to kill Rido, Kaname reveals that Rido will hunt Yuuki, and claims that Zero will never betray Yuuki.".

She thanked him and he respond with noting that she was speaking to him, more overlong that conversation, she was suppose to stay inside the room until the end of this party for the reason of all the vampires downstairs. She stayed suddenly remembering a deja vu moment, having a strange image clouding her mind, then again distracted by the young child entering to apologizes to her, noticing his strange different color eyes. He left the room and she followed, lingering in the hallway on the top floor, looking over the vampire guests. She saw Zero and again the same image of him almost kissing her came back. Kaname entered the room, with everyone bowing except Zero. Afterwards many parents were trying to ask Kaname hand to their daughters. Kaname noticed Yuki watching when she left. Zero noticed his brother and followed him. Yuki entered back in the room and sat in front of the door, hurting over knowing that Kaname can choose anyone over her. Kaname comes in asking why she left, she answers him, he goes over and hugs her, picking her up and placing her on the couch. He laid his head on her asking for a minute, feeling a little weak, she gladly accepted answering that she would do anything for him. Yuki soon remembered how they use to be so close like this, and stared to cry, telling him her thoughts without looking at him, his vampire side much filled with hunger, asked her if she would want to become a vampire to be by his side forever. Yuki wanted him to, but upon seeing her tears he mistook them for fear and told her she had nothing to worry about, and that he would never do anything like that to her. She returned to the academy to find Yori and her father. It started snowing, which reminded Yuki of the day she was saved by Kaname, for snow has always reminded her of red. ".

Senri Shiki decided to go home instead of going with everyone, and he was summoned by his mother's grandfather, a member of the Council. Meanwhile, back in the Moon dorm, Aido has a flashback of himself asking Kain to investigate Kaname's secret while away at Aido resident. Later, Aido went to the boy's dorm over at Sun Dorm (where Zero was staying), and Yuki, who had wondered towards Zero's room. The three of them decides to eat dinner at the headmaster's resident when Aido refuses to go back to his own dorm. Zero cooked enough for three, but Aido ate them all in his stress. During a short talk with Yuki, Yuki states she will be okay even if Kaname betrays her, and Aido silently agrees. Later taking a bath, Aido has a flashback of the first time meeting Kaname at his house while he was much younger. Aido, who believed himself to be perfect at the time, refused to befriend Kaname. Later, his teacher taught Kain and Aido the power of a pureblood; and the next time Kaname and Aido met was years later, when Kaname's parents had committed a suspicious suicide Aido highly doubts. Still in the kitchen making dinner for Zero and herself, Yuki drops a plate. While picking up the pieces, she cuts her finger. She tells Zero to lick it and drink her blood, a scene witnessed by Aido, who becomes troubled by it. Aido hurried back to the Moon dorm and picked up his courage to enter Kaname's study, where he saw broken chess pieces on a chess board. He realised that Kaname is plotting something. ".

His uncle brought Senri to meet an unconscious man who was immersed in a tub of blood, who his uncle claim to be Senri's father. A same vampire child with mismatched eyes who had previously sapped Yuki of energy entered the scene and behaved of a much older age than he appears to be. Senri's uncle addressed the child as a Lord and the child collapsed unconscious on the tub. Senri's father woke and demanded for Senri to lend him his power. Red tendrils of energy surrounded Senri and the scene was cut to Aido's mansion where the rest of the Night class were gathered. Kaname's bodyguard reported that "they" have started moving, and Kaname was seen to become very disturbed upon learning the news and ordered everybody to return to the Academy. Yuki was taking a bath and contemplating her past conversation with Zero when she suddenly recalled a woman in a white dress embracing her. When she opened her eyes, she found her bathtub filled with blood. Zero suggested Yuki seek details of her past by reading the Vampire Hunter Association's records and they went to the Association city with Cross Kaien and Yagari. While Yuki was searching through the records, she accidentally found a 16 year old record written by Cross Kaien, and it was revealed Kaien was once a vampire hunter as well. Meanwhile, the Association president showed Zero remnants of the clothing perished Vampire hunters wore which were soaked with blood. Zero collapsed from exposure to so much blood and the President told him he could either regain his sanity by drinking a pureblood's blood or reversing 'The Cursed Twins'. Yuki suddenly screamed and Zero found her in shock while a book was burning. Yuki was just about to turn the page of a book which recorded events from a decade ago when the page burst into flames. Yuki was so upset she cried the entire night in Zero's arms. The next day Kaname and the group at Aidou's house returned and Yuki was there to greet him. Yuki asked to meet Kaname in private to discuss something and Kaname agreed. Upon returning to the dorm, Kaname found that Aidou has went through his rooms and told Aidou to stay out of his affairs. Aidou professed his concerns about Kaname's past and his plots. Kaname told Aidou his parents were murdered but revealed nothing else. Takuma was ordered to meet Ichiou at his office where Takuma was shocked to be introduced to a cruel and mysterious vampire whom Ichiou addresses as 'My Lord' ".

Ichiru is charismatic and quickly becomes popular among the students, a stark contrast to his older brother. Yuki goes to meet with Kaname but is spooked by an illusion of blood on her hand. In her fear, she attacks Kaname, and he ultimately comforts her and tells her that he loves her. This disorients her and she is unable to ask him about her past. Zero confronts Kaname about Yuki's hidden memories and Kaname pins him to the wall reminding him that he is only allowed to live because he is useful to Kaname in that he will never betray Yuki. Kaname allows him to drink his blood once again to stave off Zero's fall to level E status. Aido stops zero as he is leaving the night class wing and asks him to help discover Kaname's "hidden" side. After a talk with Zero about his courage to face his brother, Yuki resolves to talk to Kaname once more about her past. She gets angry with him for treating her like a child and not telling her what he knows. He asks her if she wouldn't rather stay blissfully ignorant of her past, but she emphatically explains she wishes to be strong and know the truth. He then expresses his concern that the truth will make Yuki hate him, and though she says she could never hate Kaname, he makes her promise to be his lover before he will reveal the past. When he hugs her for comfort, he notices Zero looking at the two with his "worried eyes" since Kaname knows how much Zero loves Yuuki. ".

Meanwhile, Rima battles Shiki, and is seriously injured; however, she pleas to Shiki to regain control, and Rido is unable to move Shiki's body. Yuuki decides to talk to Zero, and despite Akatsuki's and Hanabusa's pleas, goes to the Day Class dorms. When Yuuki arrives at the door to Zero's room, she senses that Zero has pointed Bloody Rose at her.".

Kaname takes Ichiru's sword and stabs his hand to give Rido the necessary blood to revive. As Kaname leaves, he reveals that he is the original member of the Kuran family, and Rido summoned him from his slumber, rendering Kaname unable to kill Rido. Kaien and Yagari meet, and Zero arrives, asking Yagari to kill him. Yagari refuses and leaves in a room as Zero reminisces about what Yuuki said to him.".

When he boasts to his co-workers that he can and would steal a Vanguard, which is one of the Empire's elite combat vehicles used for defending themselves against the Mejale, he finds himself boxed in by his own words. As if things couldn't get any worse, the Ikazuchi also comes under attack by a group of fearsome women from Mejale - and not just any Mejale women, but pirates! Found out by the Tarak crew and facing execution for being a stowaway, Hibiki comes face to face with a real live woman in the midst of all the fighting, who he immediately runs away from, despite her overly friendly attitude. But the real threat may not come from th".

All he has to do is destroy the enormous enemy force, by himself if he needs to. But with everyone's confidence except Dita's flagging, will he come through?".

It's left to the crew to once again work together to overcome their difficulties. In the aftermath, the crew discovers that it will take 270 days to get home, as they have been thrown to a remote part of space. With this new knowledge, the men and women realize that working together is a necessity to get themselves home.".

Despite Hibiki's unhappiness, the Vanguards go down to the surface and find themselves in trouble - but getting out of the situation may be the only way to find out what exactly the mysterious enemy's motivation is.".

Duero, Parfait, and Paiway struggle to save Meia's life as Meia has flashbacks to her turbulent and troubled past. The latest enemy attack may hinder their ability to bring her back from the brink of death, however, and it is left to Hibiki, of all people, to come up with a plan that just might save them all.".
- vandread-7 description "Now that things have calmed down relatively, Hibiki now discovers that he still has a major problem - Dita, who still is very interested in him, and whose highly curious actions are starting to get on his nerves. Hibiki having no experience with dealing with women, is at a loss with what to do about the situation, and ends up inadvertantly hurting Dita's feelings. In a rare moment of depression, Dita goes so far as not to talk to Hibiki and state that in battle she won't even combine with his Vandread. The rift may seem impossible to bridge, but Hibiki even goes to Gascogne for advice on what to do. Dita begins to realize that her feelings for Hibiki may go beyond simple curiosity, but hopefully it won't be too late to forgive and forget...".

They also come across Utan's owner Rabat, who is more then happy to meet the crew. He manages to get onboard the ship and tries to sell them stuff, as any good sales man would. However, Hibiki, BC, and some of the rest of the crew suspect he may be hiding his true motives, and when Rabat tries to force his way into Hibiki's Vanguard to find out the secret of the Vandreads, their fears are realized. Dita is the only thing that stands between Rabat and the Vanguard, but an angry Hibiki may get there in time to defend her and the Vanguard with his bare hands, if he has to.".
- vandread-9 description "The crew of the Nirvana come across a planet that is almost completely covered in water. There is one island on the planet, but before they have time to investigate they must face cubed shaped opponents. Jura is as determined as ever to unite with Hibiki, and this is the perfect opportunity for her to do so - although the result may not be what she was necessarily expecting. As Hibiki and Jura crash onto the surface of the planet, the Captain and B.C. go down to investigate, and meet the locals, who seem to be willing to be harvested by the Harvest fleet. Meia and Dita try to desperately hold off the new Harvest fleet ship that is approaching the planet, but it may take Hibiki to motivate an extremely depressed Jura to fight in the new Vandread in order to save everyone.".

The Dreads outside have to stop the enemy, but they have to do it without Dita and Hibiki, who are stuck in a stopped elevator with Ezra, who has just began to go into labor!".
- vandread-the-second-stage-3 description "The Nirvana arrives at yet another planet tampered with by the Harvest fleet, as its inhabitants are unable to survive the air and have all caught a disease that is fatal, with no cure. On a mission of mercy, Duero and the rest of the crew stop at the planet in order to ease people's suffering and help them, and Bart befriends a little girl named Shirley, also bedridden with the disease. However, yet another enemy attack threatens the crew's only attempt to create a clean environment for the inhabitant's babies to be born in, and a reluctant yet determined Bart must leave Shirley to fight for her life while he fights to defend the planet from attack.".
- vandread-the-second-stage-4 description "The Nirvana comes upon another Mission, though the inhabitants are decidedly hostile and use a law of ""take what you want by force"" in order to survive. Hand to hand combat is the only way to prove the Nirvana crew's strength, and BC, as the highest ranking officer on the away team, chooses to fight in order to prove the Nirvana's good will. The enemy, however, isn't about to stop for a simple fight, and the Mission becomes infested by Harvest fleet units. With energy weapons useless against these new enemies, Barnette's antique gun selection using old fashioned ""bullets"" may be the only thing to keep the Mission from being harvested, although an old acquaintance may make an appearance as well...".
- vandread-the-second-stage-5 description "Another Harvest fleet mother ship has come to attempt to attack the Nirvana, and the crew, this time, sets out confidently to destroy it using the same methods as before. However, a new form of enemy beats back the attack of the Dreads and Vandreads, and after Jura suffers serious injury, Gascogne is forced to pull rank and push for a retreat, towing an unwilling and furious Barnette from the battlefield. Jura's injury and condition cause Barnette and Hibiki to bristle and Gascogne's seemingly cold and calm attitude, and a heated argument ensues. Hibiki and Barnette find, however, the Gascogne knows much more about the pain of losing someone than anyone else, and that staying calm is the only way to win battles. And Gascogne is willing to teach everyone that lesson, at any cost...".

Now the Vandreads must defend the little NAVI robot as he struggles to do his job - but the new enemy form is not far behind...".
