It was formerly the property of the former Heretic God Susanoo and considered a demigod. Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi is a demi-god of Steel and has shown the Authority of Wind control, and the ability to enhance the wielder to a point where they can surpass the abilities of a Great Knight. It can also possess its wielder when they are in the Netherworld. It's suggested that both of these require the power of Divine Possession to accomplish though. Since its introduction, Ama no Murakumo has revealed the ability to adsorb Authorities, whether those of its wielder Godou, or those of an attacker, to provide power, and transform them into new abilities. After absorbing the power of wind from the Authority of Luo Hao, it granted Godou the power of shockwaves from his punches, when adsorbing lightning created from Godou's Authority, it developed immense magnetic powers, and other abilities. - amaderasu comment "Amaderasu was a Cardian who appeared in episode 053. Ail and An wanted to steal very "young" and "fresh" energy, so they sent Amaderasu to attack local nursery schools. They began by sending her to attack Juuban Municipal Nursery School. A bright orange light flashed above the school, and Amaderasu appeared in a glowing orb above. She formed a ball of energy in her hands and sent thin, sparkling strings floating to the Earth. The strings enveloped the babies, workers, and parents at the school, draining them of their energy. Everyone was knocked unconscious as their energy was depleted, and Amaderasu vanished. Usagi, Mamoru, and Ami witnessed the attack taking place, and called ambulances to the scene. Everyone was taken to the hospital for care, where it was discovered that only one child - Manami - was unaffected. Mamoru and Usagi volunteered to care for Manami while his mother was in the hospital. In the meantime, the Senshi worked to learn more about Amaderasu. Rei used her fire reading technique to learn to recognize Amaderasu's evil aura. Thus, they were able to determine that the location of her next attack would be Nakayoshi Koyoshi Nursery School. At the nursery school, an orange glow covered everything and Amaderasu appeared in the sky. Like before, a blue orb appeared in her hands as she prepared to attack. This time, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Jupiter arrived to stop her. Sailor Venus used her "Crescent Beam" attack, but Amaderasu was barely fazed. The Cardian created orange bubbles which encased the babies, causing them to float up and create a protective shield around Amaderasu. The Senshi realized that they could not attack her like this. Soon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon arrived, but Amaderasu began draining their energy. The Moonlight Knight appeared on the scene and distracted the Cardian long enough for Mercury and Moon to be released. Sailor Mercury was incredibly angry, so she gathered her strength to use a new attack, "Sabão Spray Freezing." The attack froze Amaderasu in ice, giving Sailor Moon the opportunity to use "Moon Princess Halation" to completely destroy her. (Source: The Oracle :: BSSM Encyclopaedia)".

She was very good at her job (even earning the nickname "the Zero Goddess" because of her avoidance of pirate encounters). Amane was in line to gain a promotion to Detective 1st class when, after landing her spaceship in the lake outside Tenchi Masaki's home, she gave Seina Yamada an application to the G.P. Academy. Previously, in episode 18 of the third Tenchi OVA, she had contacted Tenchi, through her friend Mihoshi Kuramitsu, about his entering the G.P. Academy. When she saved Seina from drowning, she had assumed that Tenchi was training Seina, and gave the boy an application to the Academy as well, forgetting a regulation that prohibits citizens of underdeveloped planets from entering (however, Tenchi was considered because of his blood connection with the Jurai Royal Family). As a result of her mistake, Amane's promotion was placed on hold and she ended up assigned as an instructor in the G.P. Academy, along with Kiriko Masaki and her old childhood friend Seiryo Tennan. Despite her previous relationship with him as a child, Amane has a developed a deep hatred towards Seiryo due to his apparent child-like idiocy, and that he tried to seduce her a few years back. Not only does Amane not care about Seiryo in the least bit, but she would be glad never to see him again and even beaten him up a few times when Seiryo tried to make a move on her. After Seina would receive the body enhancing modifications he needed to keep up with the other students, Seina moved into Amane's private home, along with Kiriko and Erma (secretly, Erma was in fact the space pirate Ryoko Balta, who was spying on Seina). Amane's life would soon be revolving around Seina as the G.P. utilizes the boy's fantastic amount of bad luck, which seems to attract space pirates, in a plan to bring peace throughout the galaxy. Amane's family happens to be one of the premiere fashion houses in the galaxy. Amane mostly entered the Galaxy Police to spite her tradition-bound father, who still kept in contact with his daughter despite her entry into the G.P.. Amane, later on, would briefly re-enter the modeling business when her family sponsored a G.P. fashion show. It was only after seeing Amane's skill and abilities during a live-fire demonstration of the latest G.P. battle gear that Amane's father conceded that his daughter had made the right choice... but still held out she would return to modeling. Amane's family is also friends of the powerful Kuramitsu family of planet Seniwa, and Amane is acquainted with both Mihoshi and her brother Misao Kuramitsu. In fact, Amane had trained Misao, and she still refers to the boy as "Rookie". ".

- amarao comment "Commander Amarao works for the department of Interstellar Immigration. This agency, among other things, acts as a middle man for negotiations between the government and Medical Mechanica. Thus, Haruko/Raharu is a big problem for them as she is bent on provoking an attack by disrupting communications. Amarao has fake eyebrows made of nori which he believes serve the dual purpose of making him look macho and protecting him from N.O. Amarao seems to have had a past relationship with Haruko similar to Naota's. In the first episode he appears in (the 4th episode of the series), the viewers get the impression that he is virtually an omniscient character, giving background information as well as making fairly accurate predictions. However, subsequent events would show him as extremely weak and very limited in foresight. It is a likely inference from the story that as a child he was approached by Haruko/Raharu, just like Naota, and she tried using his N.O. to contact/capture Atomsk. However, his N.O. channel is so weak that he can barely pull something the size of a slingshot through. When the prior happens in episode 5, Haruko says "Small, as usual.", again suggesting a previous relationship between the two, or that she has tried it with other men. One could also argue that a youthful entanglement with Haruko could have led to his career with Interstellar Immigration. There are some traces of him feeling jealous that Haruko has chosen Naota over him. He has a love of sickeningly sweet candy and drinks, and hates spicy, sour, and pulpy foods - much like Naota. His vehicle of choice is a Fuji Rabbit, a motor scooter which was produced initially in 1946 six months prior to the initial production of the Vespa. Given that throughout the series Amarao is constantly trying to impress Haruko, who rides a Vespa, one could conclude his ownership of a scooter is further manifestation of his attempts to impress her - or at very least a signal to the level at which Haruko influenced him in his youth.".

She quickly made it clear how much she admired her teacher. After helping with the injured, she and Shinn were escorted back to their village by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata. Upon arriving at the village, they discovered that it too was destroyed by the Sky Ninja. Horrified by the sight, Amaru accidentally triggered a trap that would have killed her had Shinn not saved her at the cost of his own life. Wanting to make her sensei proud, Amaru joined Naruto in rescuing the villagers, which lead them to an old ruins that turned out to be the Sky Ninja's headquarters and mother ship. To Amaru's delight, she discovered that Shinn was still alive. But her joy quickly turned to horror as Shinn revealed that he was working with the Sky Ninja and that the kind man he appeared to be was a lie. He also revealed to have been the one who implanted the Reibi in her, so as to gather massive amounts of dark chakra. Falling into despair, she was given new hope from Naruto who convinced her that while Shinn himself may have not believed in what he taught her, there is truth to valuing life. Amaru then went off to find and rescue the villagers that were locked up. When the mother ship began crashing from the sky, Naruto forced her to join the villagers in a smaller ship, but she chose to jump after Naruto to be there for him for a change.
