For footwear, he uses one-tooth tengu-geta. He appears to have a large mole or piercing embedded in his forehead and strangely enough, two small rectangular covers on his neck which conceal small battery slots, indicating that he may have some sort of cybernetic implants. He appears to have quite the problematic personality and a careless approach to life. Despite his uncouth behavior, he takes his job as a chef seriously, and is usually seen as weird by others. He is shown to have a love for food as when he dropped down to the Four Heavenly Kings' table without moving the plates or bottles that had food or wine in them, and can also hear the "Voice of Ingredients" showing just how much he values and respects food. Brunch seems to have formed a friendly rivalry with Komatsu after having been declined as a partner by Zebra and hearing about him from the Four Heavenly Kings. Brunch has the ability to generate and control large amounts of electricity. It is strong enough to completely incinerate the Bishokukai's Beasts, and even scorch and stun Elg, hinting it would be fatal to the latter if he were not immortal. Brunch 's body contains electricity-producing organs like an electric eel, but each of his cells also act as amplifier circuits. He can produce over 100,000 amperes of electricity with an average potential of 100 million volts, rivaling the power of a lightning. Since the time needed for discharging it is 0.1 seconds, his attacks are virtually unavoidable. When preparing a long-distance attack, he first makes the path in the air, the Stepped Leader, to lock on his targets, then unleashes the offensive discharge, the Return Stroke. While the first part goes at the speed of 200 Km/s (Mach 600), the second is much faster, traveling at 10000 Km/s (Mach 30000). He can use electricity to boost his already impressive speed and reactions to unthinkable levels, as shown during his confrontation with Elg, to the point that most attacks look "stopped" to him. He claims that, although lasting for a very short time and not reaching the speed of light, no living creature can measure up to it. While Brunch can produce electricity naturally, he finds using batteries that he inserts into his neck most convenient. However, he can also generate it from other sources, including solar, wind, thermal, water or even kinetic energy received from opponents attacks, making his body a virtual power plant.".

Bruno is in actual fact from the future; an android copy of a man and pro D-Wheeler named Antinomy, who witnessed the world's destruction. He was about to be executed by Grannel when Zone, using Yusei's form, appeared and saved him, offering a hand and restoring Antinomy's hope, even just faintly. Alongside Aporia and Paradox, they worked to salvage mankind until only Zone was left. Bruno was created in the image of Antinomy, that which is known as Dark Glass, working as a protector over Yusei and guiding him towards Clear Mind to carry out an Accel Synchro. Whilst duelling Placido, he swerved violently, saving a kitten, but Dark Glass crashed his D-Wheel, Delta Eagle, losing his memories and birthing Bruno. He plays a major part in helping the Signers reach the Ark Cradle and accompanies them as Dark Glass, creating a slipstream that saves Aki, whose D-Wheel hadn't received an upgrade and threatened her chances of making it to the Ark Cradle. When Team 5D's were separated, he wound up with Yusei. Once he recovers his memories, he resumes the identity of Antinomy, stating that he's a friend of Zone and an enemy of Yusei, challenging him to a Riding Duel. The field changed to an orbital stage, around a star, which died and creates a black hole once Antinomy unleashes the Delta Accel Synchro he has been hiding. When Yusei manages to defeat him, Bruno's Delta Eagle spins wildly out of control and into the black hole, which also expands to swallow Yusei. Inside the darkness, Bruno understands that despite his task in taking down Yusei, he has been a friend and that he himself has always been a close friend to the others and a member of Team 5D's. Delta Eagle begins to struggle under the strain and Yusei offers a hand for Bruno to take, Bruno declines the help, understanding his time has come and requests Yusei does what he can to save or stop Zone, who he has claimed is a friend. Pleased he has enlightened Yusei to the Delta Accel Synchro, Bruno charges his smoking Delta Eagle at Yusei's D-Wheel and with the last of his life, yells out for Yusei to go, creating the power to return Yusei to the Arc Cradle, smiling as his D-Wheel gives out and watches his true friend live on. His damaged visor makes it back with Yusei, who breaks down when he can see the Bruno he always knew smiling through it, beyond reach.".

Wars. Bruno J. Global rose through the ranks of the United Nations Forces thanks to his exploits during the Unification Wars until he was assigned as Captain of the flagship of the infant Spacy, the SDF-1 Macross fortress. After Space War I, he took an administrative position in the U.N. Government and designed the Human Emigration Project, a space colonization scheme followed by the U.N. for the following years to ensure the survival of mankind and its culture in case of further appearances of Zentradi and Supervision Army fleets. In the Macross continuity he became an admiral as well as commander of the U.N. Spacy after the battle against Boddole Zer. He survives the Macross series to become U.N.
