- carly-nagisa comment "Carly Nagisa is a reporter who came from the country to seek out her dreams. She tends to get pushed around by others as she attempts to obtain a big scoop and is generally called "Stutter Stammer Carly" due to her nervousness. She carries around a Fortune Telling Deck which she uses to predict her fortune and give her tips for the day. Sometimes having to live in her car, Carly uses a Duel Disk radar that is able to detect the location of duels occurring nearby, which she used to locate Yusei Fudo during his duel with Dick Pitt. From then on she tries to investigate Yusei's "glowing arm", which leads her into learning about the Signers, Dark Signers, and even the Zero Reverse incident. But all throughout her investigations she encounters obstacles that prevent her from leaving the scene with the scoop she needs. She also develops feelings for Jack Atlus after she assists in his recovery after his duel with Yusei in the Fortune Cup. Later in the story, Carly is investigating the Arcadia Movement for information regarding the Signers when Divine catches her. Divine challenges her to a Psychic Duel, which ends in Carly plummeting from the high skyscraper level to the ground below, where she dies on impact. She is then immediately revived as a Dark Signer with the Hummingbird mark and she duels Divine in a Yami no Duel for revenge. The duel ends with Carly summoning her Earthbound God and sending Divine to face the same death she did. But after the duel, Carly returns to her normal self and is left confused and scared about her change to a Dark Signer and about the actions she committed. However, her Dark Signer state returns in her duel with Jack and she manages to put a major dent in Jack's life points. Then, she tries to convince Jack to join the Dark Signers by using "the card that showed her Fate." However, her plan fails and Jack continues to battle her. Jack then later reveals during the duel that he had developed feelings for her and he tries everything in his power to save her. However, he defeats her, but she still turns to dust in the end. Before she does, she told Jack that she loved him. Her Dark Signer deck is an evolved version of her previous Fortune Telling deck, where her cute "Fortune Telling Witches" have grown up into more intimidating (and evil) "Fortune Ladies". She uses a Field Spell, Fortune Vision, to send hers and her opponent's monsters into the future, a strategy that is beneficial to her while detrimental to her opponent. However, when all the former Dark Signers return after the final Dark Signer battle, Carly has no recollection of her days as a Dark Signer. She is seen as the bumbling reporter who follows Jack everywhere. She is present when Jack battles Ghost, who looks like him. She is also present in Jack's battle against Andore in the WRGP and in the hospital where Jack is placed after he took a dangerous fall from his D-Wheel in defeat after the duel.".

- carmaine-fallsmyer comment "The protagonist of Growlanser I. When he was born, he immediately became an abandoned child but he was picked up and raised by the royal court magician Sandra. As an infant, he received two contradictory prophesies, to become "the darkness to destroy the world" or "the light which saves it". Uneasy about his future, Sandra watched over him and had him never go outside of the city or have contact with the outside world. However, he often has vivid dreams of places he knows nothing about. When he became of age, he was told by Sandra to go and experience the outside world and therefore he begins a trip outside the royal capital Rosaria. Royal court sorceress Sandra created a homunculus that looks like a fairy, Tippi, to look after him. Tippi accompanies his journey and helps him solve problems. Louise, Sandra's real daughter, is Carmaine's adopted younger sister and she loves him like a real brother. He becomes an officer knight for the kingdom of Rolandia and he carries out missions with his comrades. He has to solve the incidents that occur on the continent among the three countries, especially when the threat of war breaks out between them. Aside from having strong visions of places he has never been to, he sometimes has dreams of incidents occuring in another place which are actually happening. Sometimes he is "mind-controlled" by a mysterious voice that can control his body. He earns the title of "Growlanser", the one called the "Savior of Light" when he saves the countries, and defeats Gevel and Venzel. He is a clone human created by Gevel from the cells of a man called Belgar. He was sent to Rosaria dressed as an abandoned child to be a spy. Gevel, his creator, can control his mind and body, but Ruise can prevent that from happening just by being by his side because she is a Growsian -- the Growshu power she has blocks off the mind waves from Gevel. When Gevel was destroyed, the source of his life was also gone and he weakened to the point of being in danger of dying. However, because of the Power Stone, the wishes of the people throughout the continent which he saved united together to grant him a human body. After Venzel was defeated, he works as a special envoy of Rolandia Kingdom. (Source: Growlanser Realm)".

Throughout the series, Carmen frequently leaves Van and Wendy's company to later reunite with them, until she finally joins forces with them at the final stand to save the planet. The new threat that stands before our heroes, from the abyss of Europe, that which has been called the “Dark Continent.” Hidden within her childish frame is a battle capacity of immense proportions, she has mastered and can freely control various energies including the “Aristotle” (the four elements of wind, fire, earth and water). Carol Malus Dienheim originally lived in a small village with her father in Europe during the Dark Ages. Her father practiced the art of Alchemy, and used it to cure a deadly plague that had spread throughout the village. The villagers mistook his alchemy for witchcraft, claiming that all knowledge that does not come from God must come from the devil, and burns him at the stake. Carol is told by her father before his death to learn more about the world. A millennium later in the present day, Carol misconstrues her father's words and aims to destroy the world through the knowledge of alchemy that she has acquired. Carol's alchemy is powered through memory combustion. She also yields the Faust Robe of Daurdabla, a relic akin to the Symphogear created through alchemy. Without the need for a song to activate it, it takes the form of a harp whose strings create an intense slashing attack capable of bisecting objects. By plucking the harp, Carol can amplify her magic similar to what song does for the Symphogear. Carol uses Alcha-Noise, a stronger variant of the Noise created through Alchemy, as well as the Autoscorers, four powerful homunculus also created through Alchemy. By pitting them against the Symphogear users, Carol activates the Château de Tiffauges, the main instrument in her plans of world destruction. Eventually Carol is stopped by the Symphogear users, though she loses all her memories in the battle in powering her spells. Afterwards, Carol visits the injured Elfnein, her homunculus clone in which she downloaded her memories beforehand, to ask about her own identity. Instead, she saves Elfnein, healing her injuries at the cost of her own life.".

Kars' power is that of light; he is able to produce bladed appendages from his arms and use these to reflect blinding light toward his enemies. He also has the same powers over his body that all the Pillar Men share. When he gains the power of the stone mask, he becomes invulnerable to sunlight, and also gains some abilities on a genetic level; he can produce living creatures and control them, and can mutate his body into various forms. He outlasts his comrades and eventually does gain almost unlimited power as the ultimate "evolved" man through the Red Stone of Aja and a stone mask. In a final confrontation, he succeeds in severing Joseph's hand but is eventually blown into space by a volcanic eruption as well as an ultimate Ripple attack from Joseph. Being immortal, he does not die; however he is unable to return to Earth after being thrown out of orbit. Trapped in the void of space for eternity, he eventually stops thinking and desires death. He is named after the 80's new wave group The Cars. (Source: Wikipedia)".
- carson-d-carson comment "Carson was originally apart of a group of smugglers who stole large amount of Vizorium (or Visorium). Kei and Yuri layed a trap for them which led to a small shootout. Carson deserted the group and escaped. Carson comes across Kei and Yuri again on planet Agerna.".
- carta-issue comment "Commander of Gjallarhorn's Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet, a position most see as largely ceremonial. A member of the most powerful family in the Seven Stars, she is known to be fond of dramatic flair and strict codes of conduct. She is also determined to demonstrate her fleet's capabilities to the Seven Stars without external help, but is easily outraged if things do not go according to plan. She used to be friends with McGillis and Gaelio in childhood, but now considers them to be annoying rivals at best, not hesitating to pull rank with Gaelio to keep him in line. On the other hand, she seems to have longstanding feelings for McGillis, but refuses to admit it to others and herself. She was made the ward of Iznario Fareed at some point in the past because of her father's chronic illness. Utterly disgraced by her squad's defeat at the Millennium Island, she is assigned to track down and eliminate Tekkadan while the group is on a train to Edmonton. Carta is killed after the resulting one-sided battle with the Gundam Barbatos, piloted by an enraged Mikazuki recognizing her as Biscuit's killer, despite she and her remaining troops are no match against Tekkadan's mobile suit pilots with the Alaya-Vijnana System. She is retrieved by Gaelio in the Gundam Kimaris Trooper before Mikazuki can strike a killing blow, but soon dies of her injuries regardless. In her last moments, she mistakes Gaelio for McGillis and begs for forgiveness and reassurance that she is not a disgrace while Gaelio looks on in frustration. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- cartia-goltschmidt comment "An ambitious casino dealer from Germany who seeks to take the Howard Resort in a Gate Battle, and uses her subordinates to carry out her plan. She is described as a cunning and manipulative woman who will use any means to ensure victory, and is often notoriously described by other characters as "an old hag wearing heavy makeup". It has been hinted from Jack that Cartia wants to collect all of the Gates including those in Rio's possession, stating that she will "see a rainbow" once she fulfills her goal. Cartia is later revealed to be Rina's aunt, and has aided the latter in her plot for revenge against Rio.".
- carue comment "Carue, also spelled "Karoo", is Vivi's pet spot-billed duck, a fast-footed riding bird (one of the fastest modes of transportation available in Arabasta). His role during Vivi's time with the Straw Hat Pirates is mostly that of comic relief, although he does relay valuable information to Chopper from time to time, helps Luffy and Usopp to defeat the Baroque Works agents in Little Garden and saves Vivi from Mr. 2 Bon Kurei in Arabasta. He is the center of several jokes in the Arabasta arc, at one point being used as bait for fishing by Luffy and Usopp to Vivi's anger and chagrin, and he is mistaken for an ostrich by Sanji. He is the leader of the Super Spot-Billed Duck Squad in Arabasta. Source: One Piece Wikia".
