- garoben description "Garoben was a Youma summoned by Jadeite to drain energy from unsuspecting students as part of the Dark Kingdom's continuing energy-gathering efforts. She appeared in anime episode 8. She was a female humanoid creature with red skin, dark spiky hair, a light purple mark on her forehead, and spikes that stretched from her shoulders and back She was in charge of the Crystal Seminar, a cram school that Ami attended. The students were given special disks to use, not knowing that the disk would activate a program that would drain their energy. Usagi discovered the disk after a new student, Ami, left hers behind. Suspecting Ami to be from the Dark Kingdom, Usagi disguised herself and infiltrated the school. Usagi confronted Ami and transformed into Sailor Moon, but then Garoben appeared, grabbing Ami by the neck and taking her hostage before transforming into her Youma form. While holding Ami, she first puzzled Sailor Moon with math questions before sending dozens of razor-sharp test sheets at her. Sailor Moon managed to dodge them, but ended up in a corner. Garoben asked if she wanted to surrender now or later, before the hypnotized, energy-drained students began surrounding Sailor Moon. While Sailor Moon was busy fending off the students, Garoben forced Ami to look at her computer screen in an attempt to drain her energy, only to find it ineffective. Garoben threw her to the ground, and morphed her left hand into a large axe. After managing to dodge the first swing of the axe, Ami transformed into Sailor Mercury. Garoben wound up for another strike, but became lost in the cold mist created by Mercury's bubble attack. As she began shivering, the hypnotized students collapsed, freeing Sailor Moon and allowing her to use her tiara to destroy Garoben. (Source: wikimoon)".

- garp-monkey-d description "Affiliation: Marine Occupation: Vice Admiral Epithet: Garp the Fist Birthday: July 6 Monkey D. Garp is a Marine hero, who was famous for cornering the late Pirate King, Gold Roger numerous times in his career. Garp is considered by Whitebeard as one of the few people that know the seas from the time of Gold Roger. Early on in Luffy's life, he was trained by Garp to become a strong Marine. Luffy was thrown into valleys, left alone in dangerous forests, and tied to balloons over high altitudes, all for the sake of making him stronger. After this he left Luffy and Ace in the care of an Dadan. Garp is first introduced in Koby's mini-series as the Marine Officer in charge of escorting Captain Morgan. However after falling asleep, Morgan makes his escape by striking Garp and taking Helmeppo as a hostage, fleeing on a small dingy. Garp then wakes up unharmed, apparently breaking a cannon in the process of waking up. When Koby begs to chase after the two, Garp allows Koby to pursue them. Upon the boys return they offer themselves to be punished, but Garp instead proposes a different course of action. He states that the pair of them are nothing but trouble and the only way to ensure they still in line is that he takes charge of the pair. He takes them back to Marine HQ where he begins to train them to become great Marine Officers. (Source: One Piece Wikia, Wikipedia)".

- garu description "A 12-year-old (13 as of The Cursed Tie) boy born on December 2, Garu is a skilled, shy, and somewhat serious-natured ninja, love interest to Pucca, best friend to Abyo. To Pucca's frustration, however, he only rarely returns her affection and usually frantically tries to escape when Pucca attempts to kiss him. He is the only sane person that knows that he is not Pucca's boyfriend, while everybody seems to think that Garu returns the same feelings that Pucca has for him. Garu's feelings are still a mystery to some people but it is quiet obvious how he feels. Anything about Garu's family is quite unknown except it reveals that in one of the episodes, Garu has a little brother named Gura. So far, he has only been seen once in an episode called Gura in Town. No real mentioning of his family was made either except for Tobe frequently mentioning his ancestors. One thing revealed, Garu is trying to restore his family name. Despite trying to avoid pucca's advances toward him, Garu's feelings are truthful shown in a caring but not too affectionate towards her. Interestingly enough, one can come to two separate conclusions about the truth of Garu's feelings depending on which series one chooses to follow. In the original Flash cartoons, it was suggested that Pucca and Garu were officially a couple, and he occasionally gave her boxes of chocolate and other gifts. In one episode, he melted down his beloved sword to make a little ring for her, and in another, he left a rose on her windowsill. The TV series, on the other hand, has hinted that he does care about her to some extent (i.e. getting very defensive when someone insults her like in the episode the Band Played Rong he got upset when Tobe Called Pucca Stupid), but it has never been implied that his feelings for her are more than platonic. In truth, however, it is said that Pucca and Garu are in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. It's just that Pucca is a bit too "friendly", unlike Garu, who doesn't want to show "unnecessary" affection.( He only fell in love with Pucca in the episode Full Moon Pucca because he was moonstruck). Like Pucca, Garu is capable of superhuman athletics and endurance (such as running around the entire world without tiring), yet she still manages to get the best of him. Like Pucca, he does not talk at all in the TV series, continuing to only use the sounds from the Flash cartoons. It's explained in the TV series that he's taken a vow of silence. However, in the episode "Romancing the Clone", Garu's clone speaks throughout the entire episode in an obnoxious manner, but only because the clone was accidentally sprayed with a dishonor potion made by Jumong who let Tobe try to spray Garu with it.But, in the episode, Rootin Tootin Ninja's while accitentally rolling down the moutain with Abyo,(that pucca had made earlier in the episode) it is heard that Garu actully mumbles "Get off me". This is the only time where Garu is heard saying a sentence. Also to note, in the episode Trial by Fury, the judge (Master Soo) says "Sheesh, I thought the guy would never shut up," after Garu takes the stand during the trial, although this was done in a comedic and light-hearted fashion. In Secret Santa Garu at one point was about to read aloud to Tobe (disguised as Santa at the time) his list of things he wants for Christmas but Tobe cut him off as he triggered the trap he sent for Garu. In "Hooray for Bollywood", he and Pucca actually both sing. He also cries and screams in pain from breaking his leg in A Leg Up. In Tobe's nighttime troubles, though technically may not count as him talking, a cuckoo clock at one point opens to reveal a small wooden figure of him saying in his voice "Cuckoo" In Romancing the Clone, Garu has a skill called the "Garusion Illusion", allowing Garu to split into many clones and confuse his enemies. Garu has been shown to immediately accept a quest if told it will bring him "great honor". The reason for this, although not revealed in the TV series to date, most likely stems from one of Garu's ancestors bringing dishonor upon his family (as was revealed in the original Flash cartoons). In addition to being a skilled fighter, Garu has also demonstrated the ability to play the erhu. Another example of Garu's talents, he has attained the status of 'Fire Wasp Ninja,' becoming a member of the legendary group by the same name. As though to compliment Garu's talents as a ninja, several female characters have been in love with him: Pucca, Ring Ring, a Swiss girl named Heidi (although Heidi has only appeared once in the television series), the queen of the giant termites (who appeared in the episode Chop Chewie) and a female rabbit who lived inside Santa's magic hat (who appeared in the episode Abru Ca Pucca), which would suggest that he is rather attractive, and said by the nick-name "Handsome". Also, the show's english theme song states he is "a pretty boy". Unlike Pucca, Abyo, and Ching, Garu lives independently, living a small house just outside Sooga Village with his pet cat Mio. Garu's house as revealed to carry booby traps and other mechanical objects in House of Doom with the traps and object either triggered by Garu by activating certain switches or activated automatically when certain items in the house are removed or touched in any way.".

- garuru description "Garuru is an S-rank sniper, the leader of the Garuru Platoon and Giroro's older brother. He's an indigo Keronian frog with a black helmet, has a red triangle pointing downward with a line in the downword middle for his personal symbol and also wears a belt that, unlike Giroro, is kept for power instead of to remember deceased friends during a Keron war. When he heard that the Keroro Platoon had no progress in their mission and that Giroro was not the leader, the Garuru Platoon went to Pekopon to take care of the mission themselves. Garuru defeated his brother in a one-on-one gun match, but was later defeated in a rematch. Thanks to the Keroro Platoon's friendship and united power, the Garuru Platoon was defeated. It was however hinted at strongly that Garuru's true mission was merely to test the abilities of the Keroro Platoon. Garuru and his platoon appear again in episode 130, where he faces a clone of Giroro and in 154 he shows up to aid the Keroro Platoon in defeating ZZZ. It turns out Garuru is the only one who can pronounce this new menace's name without biting his tongue. In the manga he appears in volume 14, where he shocks Giroro by revealing he's there for a short holiday. He brings a gift to Giroro, which grows into a large, flying sweet potato and the brothers have to team up to bring it down, a ploy by their father to teach them a lesson. In the end Powered Natsumi shows up, helping Garuru defeat the potato with her beam sabres as it is immune to guns and such ballistic weapons and Garuru appears impressed by the girl. During said fight with the potato there is a flashback from Giroro and Keroro's childhoood where we see a younger, presumably teenage Garuru defending his younger brother and friend against two bullies intending to take over their secret base/playground. Another interesting detail is that the younger Garuru wears the same kind of belt as present day Giroro, with a rectangular buckle. In volume 15 he sends Pururu to investigate the Keroro Platoon on their desire to invade. Source - Wikipedia".

- gaty-nene-hawk description "Gat or Gato is a character in Saiyuki Reload that started appearing at "Even a Worm Arc". His full name is Gaty Nene Hawk, as seen on volume 9, chapter 43 of Saiyuki Reload. Background Hazel's large bodyguard/traveling companion, he wields two pistols. He fights recklessly for Hazel because he can be instantly brought back to life or healed as long as Hazel has a soul stored in his pendant or there is a corpse nearby to take a soul from. His past is largely unknown except that he met Hazel several years before, was injured by him, but spared. He believes that being with and protecting Hazel is his destiny. He appears to be of Native American descent, and doesn't require sleep. He is said by Ukoku Sanzo to have been a young man of a tribe that worships nature. When the demons they had forged peace with attacked, Hazel tried to help. Gato originally opposed him and became the first human Hazel had ever mistakenly killed. He immediately was brought back, but his tribe saw him as an abomination against nature and shunned him. A man from the Eastern continent, he visited Shangri-la with Hazel. He is a dead man brought back to life by Hazel's reanimation technique; the perfectionist Hazel is his world; he was a "human", but at this point in time he can't elaborate on that experience. He travels with Hazel as the man's bodyguard, and takes Hazel's commands as absolute. He has a huge body over two meters tall, strong arms, and quick movements. He defeats youkai with his pair of highly accurate handguns, and will sacrifice his own body to protect Hazel. When he loses his life in battle doing so, he is revived by Hazel's reanimation technique. Personality He has the yellow eyes specific to those who have been reanimated, and the scar on his forehead remains that was given to him by Hazel during life. He doesn't require sleep or food, or anything else related to living. He is extremely silent and expressionless, but his is a pacifist and has a good-natured heart. He thinks of Goku, who nonchalantly connected with him, as a friend, apparently. Difference Between Anime And Manga In the Reloaded Gunlock anime, Gat's origin is different. He lived in a native tribe (not stated where) that worshiped a being they called the Great Spirit. A group of hunters eventually came and started killing a large amount of the wildlife. Gat and his tribe tried to stop the hunters but were powerless against their guns. Gat, fatally wounded by a bullet, is revived by the Great Spirit and kills the hunters. He is then taken to Europe where Hazel is killing numerous demons and under the Great Spirit's orders reluctantly kills him (since Hazel was just a boy). Guilty of his actions, Gat asks the Great Spirit to revive Hazel with his life, which the Great Spirit does so, giving Hazel's mirror the ability to revive humans with youkai souls. Gat willing goes along with the charade the Great Spirit created until the finale of the series, where he decides to fight the Sanzo party without Hazel using any souls to revive him. As a result, they kill Gat, but before he dies he reveals the truth about Hazel's memories being altered. (Source: Saiyuki.wikia)".

- gau-ban description "Gau Ban's origins differ slightly between the OAV and anime. In the anime, bandits attacked him home village when he was nine years old, slaughtering everyone, including Gau's parents. Over the next year, Gau exercised guerrilla-style attacks against the bandits for revenge. He eventually encounters Elle on the road by chance. In the OAV, Gau is ten when the attack occurs. Seeing his parents murdered in front of him, Gau snaps and attacks the bandits. He kills most of them, but then his luck runs out. Elle shows up before he himself is killed, and finishes off the remaining bandits. Since Gau is the only survivor of his village, Elle asked him, "Do you want to be strong?" and takes him with her when he answers yes. Originally, Gau only intended to follow Elle in order to steal all her money and discover the source of her powers. After some time, however, Gau came to care for Elle like an older sister. Over the years, Gau has trained side by side with Elle in an effort to become strong. With his dedication and signs of promise, he quickly catches the attention of the 57th Sevar, Scarface, who decides to help Gau improve, albeit only indirectly. Many incidents that Gau encounters are in some way or another engineered by Scarface, for the purpose of driving him to improve and become stronger. He also catches the love-interest of Kyuo Lyu, however Gau is completely oblivious to her intentions. In an ironic turn of events, Scrib Lowengren, King Iba Sutra's apprentice in Open Skills and effectively Gau's counterpart in the race to become the next Sevar, falls in love with Kyuo at first sight. A love triangle instantly develops, and so both Lowe and Gau become rivals in more ways than one. The two of them battle each other several times, Gau eventually coming out the overall victor. In respect, Lowe gives Gau his earrings, which Gau wears during his most important battles. During Solfan's initial invasion into Ashlianna, Gau is assigned by Scarface to protect Diaz Ragu, Gau's adopted older brother via Elle, and who Gau already considers to be a older brother figure to him. While this decision is tactically sound, Scarface is also testing Gau so that he will become stronger; Solfan itself desires to use the town of Blorahan, where Diaz lives, as a staging point, as well as Diaz' skills as a weapons crafter. During what later becomes known as the Lightning Battle, Gau is given the Black Wing boomerang by Diaz to use, and so creates the nickname for himself, "Black Howling". During the other fights that come, Gau successfully defeats every opponent that came his way, including G, the insane former 58th Sevar who had betrayed Kuruda and later sides with the Solfan forces. When he is forced to fight the non-human being Darkness, another test by Scarface, Gau is led very nearly to death, his neck slashed open. The test fails, however, as Gau is paralyzed by his fear of death, and Diaz Ragu intervenes on his behalf. Gau eventually defeats Darkness in the end, mastering the Shadow Gate Genesis technique Cannon in the process, but Diaz dies moments later, his 's failing health body finally succumbing to his illness. Wracked with grief and self-loathing over this, Gau slides into a deep depression, eventually coming out of it only with Elle's help. During Solfan and Ren Fuuma's assault on Kuruda, Gau trieds to fight him but is quickly overwhelmed by Ren's ferocity. During this time, imminently faced with death, Gau finally realizes what Darkness had been trying to teach him during their battle: that man's true strength comes from the purity of a heart unburdened by doubts, like a beast's. Armed with this newfound understanding, Gau overcomes Ren's attacks with ease, and defeats him. Recently in the manga, it has been revealed that Scarface is Gau's older biological brother. Their father's name is Shere Kahn, the founder of Kuruda-style Ksapp Yin-ryū, Ren Fuuma's superior, and the one who masterminded the attempted destruction of Ashlianna. Who Gau had thought were his parent were merely the people he had been entrusted to. (Source: Wikipedia)".
