Enraged, Gonou slaughtered a large number of townsfolk before journeying to the demon's castle. There he killed every demon he found single-handedly. Coming upon the imprisoned Kanan, he wanted to free her and take her home with him. She informed him that she couldn't leave with him, since she had been raped and impregnated by the demon king. Using Gonou's blade, she killed herself in front of her husband. The distraught Cho Gonou was come upon by the remaining son of Hyakuganmaou, Chin Yisou, who attacked him, slicing his belly. Wanting to find out whether or not a tale that he'd heard was true, Chin Yisou dripped his own blood into Gonou's wound. Having now bathed in the blood of 1,000 demons, Gonou became one, killing Yisou before leaving the castle. The wounded Cho Gonou was saved physically by the half-demon Sha Gojyo, and spiritually by Genjo Sanzo, taking the new name Cho Hakkai as a symbol of his rebirth. Naruto mistakenly believes Haku is a girl. As we see in the ensuing brawls, it is not appearance that determines strength. Rather, under that soft face we see that Haku has an adroit knack for speed and Jutsu skill. Combined with his knowledge of the human body, Haku can target his opponent's vital organs and kill them instantly using pinpoint accuracy. The main choice to attack these vital organs is with simple needles that are used by physicians in the battle field. Haku's bloodline originates in the country of Mist so it is no surprise that his Jutsus are water based. His "Flying Water Needles" is a technique whence he uses his chakra to create ice needles via water on the ground. He is an incredibly powerful individual in the BlazBlue universe, so much so that the player is often told to proceed with caution when confronting him, and at times even advised not to do so entirely. His armor (which is the Susano'o Unit), seems to grant him limitless energy and incredible power, and his sword (a Nox Nyctores named "Ookami") appears to bear the capability to kill characters that otherwise would be immortal, or have rapid healing properties that would make them difficult or impossible to kill. This makes him an equally dangerous foe to both mortal men as well as more powerful beings. It seems that Hakumen finds nuclear weapons to be a greater evil than the Black Beast was. This might be because while the Black Beast did spread destruction, it left seithr which became the power source for the future, while nuclear weapons just completely obliterated any life within its radius and leaves the area irradiated and useless. He was the legendary "Silver Knight" who appeared during the First War of Magic, and lead a band of Six Heroes (including himself) that ultimately defeated the Black Beast. Afterwards, Hakumen warned the people to "change their evil ways", but was exiled and sealed in a place called "The Edge" of The Boundary for roughly 90 years. He was later 'rescued', by Kokonoe, a scientist who often subjects Hakumen to her whims. He finds himself repeatedly aggravated by her meddling, especially when she interferes with his duels by having him teleported elsewhere. While Hakumen is generally a grumpy sort who often attacks characters without provocation, there are a few characters he will tolerate, including Jubei, one of his former comrades among the Six Heroes, and Rachel Alucard, to whom he feels indebted. He also seems to show an intense respect towards Bang Shishigami because of his sense of justice. It is revealed that Hakumen is, in fact, Jin Kisaragi through hints given to the player during both their respective stories in Calamity Trigger. In one of Jin's endings, he leaps after his brother, Ragna, when Nu-13 latches onto him and jumps into the Cauldron with him at the Gates of Sheol. This thrusts Jin back into the past where he meets Rachel Alucard, who offers to help him become a true hero. From here, his soul is bound to the Susano-o armor, and he becomes Hakumen. Then he goes on to defeat the Black Beast as one of the Six Heroes. In one of Hakumen's Calamity Trigger endings, he calls Ragna his brother after 'killing' him (though bear in mind this Ragna was only an illusion), and Ragna recognizes him after Hakumen removes his mask to bid farewell to him face-to-face. Hakumen then claims he must denounce his old name, and ends up fighting a shadow of his former self, Jin Kisaragi. He also states that he must do this to repent for killing his brother, implying that Jin, even as Hakumen still cares about Ragna due to lacking possession of Yukianesa. During Continuum Shift, it's revealed that when he was still Jin, Tsubaki was his secretary instead of Noel and while they had more time together he still left her which ultimately in his neglect lead to her demise, and in respect named one of his techniques after her. He also learns that Kokonoe is storing nuclear warheads, something he fears and despises even more than the Black Beast. Hakumen and Jin try to defeat Mu, but had no success. During the fight, he was relieved that Jin was able to control himself. Sometime after the incident at the Sheol Gates, believing Rachel to be too soft as an observer, Hakumen decides to walk his own path.".

Hakuoro says that he will return back to her and Eruruu says that she will wait for him. The conclusion hints that Hakuoro returns through the final scene with Eruruu, though not really seen. Other Names: Iceman/Witsarunemitea In the earliest of Hakuoro's memories, he is seen as an archeological research scholar who stumbled upon Witsarunemitea's fossil hidden in an advanced laboratory. An unknown scientist catches him and explains that he did not want anyone to know of this forgotten deity; the "missing link" in human evolution-- for he felt that it should not exist. To protect its concealment, he shot the archeologist and his blood landed on the fossil. Witsarunemitea then awakened and restored him in exchange for taking his body as a vessel so that he will not be disturbed again. As a symbol of the contract, he acquired the mask which represents Witsarunemitea. Much later, his frozen body is found by researchers who unfreeze him and name him 'Iceman.' Although initially under the pretense of helping him, the researchers were actually interested in researching his ability to survive outside of a greenhouse environment and interested in further increasing their longevity. Artificial beings based from his body were created for further studies, including subject #3510 whom he named "Mikoto" and #63 whom he named "Mutsumi." Iceman fell in love with Mikoto and later on escaped with her and had a child with her; although they're both eventually recaptured. The scientists dissected Mikoto to experiment on her, which caused Iceman to go into a rage and awaken his abilities as Witsarunemitea. Realizing what he is doing, he asks Mutsumi to destroy him; but she is unsuccessful. Instead, she manages to seal him, but he is separated into two: Hakuoro possessing his good side and his human form; and a formless evil side that must possess a host body to gain physical form. However, the seal cannot hold them forever and the two halves periodically become free. In the current time, Hakuoro awakens with no memories, and the latest of the forms taken by the darker side is that of the Onkamiyamukai scholar Dii.".

• hakuren-oak comment "Birthday: October 15 Height: 167 cm Weight: 50 kg Blood type: A Teito's roommate at the Barsburg Church and his self-proclaimed rival for the Bishop's Apprentice Exam. He greatly idolises Frau and Castor. Hakuren is a member of the Oak family, and unlike his other family members, has chosen the path of a Bishop rather than following the family's tradition to go into politics or the military. He is Shuri Oak's cousin. At times, he can be seen as vain and self-centered. Still, he is very gentle and thoughtful. He is also diplomatic, studious and strong-willed. Although he is kind, Hakuren occasionally seems to enjoy mocking people who annoy him. Although Hakuren's biggest strength is his mind, he is also very talented with his attacking Zaiphon, and has demonstrated reasonably good athletic ability. Hakuren's reasons for wanting to become a Bishop are to help people and take revenge against his father. Although Hakuren has rebelled against the Oak family, he still takes pride in his name, seen when he was very offended when Teito insulted his family name by calling them 'spineless Oaks'. Hakuren clearly states he dislikes women and feels ill around them, with the exception of his mother and Lazette. This is the result of a trauma due to his father consistently showing him dozens of albums of women to choose from to marry when he was young. Hakuren calls his condition 'joseiyoi'. When Hakuren and Teito first met, they did not get along well and started throwing insults at each other within the first few minutes of meeting each other. However, they were forced to become roommates, and Hakuren's opinions on Teito started to change when he saw Teito's sklave mark and when Teito risked his life to save Hakuren. Hakuren truly holds Teito dear, calling him his "dear comrade" and his "light". According to Mikhail, Hakuren's voice has the power of soothing Teito. Hakuren often takes on a motherly role towards Teito, but also enjoys teasing him, though doesn't tease him as often as Frau and Mikage do. After he passed the Bishop's exam and became Castor's apprentice, Hakuren received a letter from the Barsburg royal family, inviting him to become the princess's tutor. Although he clearly stated he refused as first, he changed his mind after visiting a poor hospital and learning more about the wrongdoings in the military. He took the chance to attempt to change the empire from within, since he'd be able to help more people this way. Despite his hatred against women, his new job requires him to work for a woman, with 3 more women by his side. Surprisingly, he seems to get along well with all of them with the exception of Gyokuran, who thinks of men the same way Hakuren thinks of women. Later in the manga, the Oak family is revealed to be the God House of District 2, making Hakuren a descendant of the Ghost, Relikt. This also reveals he is related to Lance by blood. ".
