People are either charming or tedious." —Oscar Wilde, Lady Windermere's Fan Internet names: Nakura (to fool girls), Kanra (Dollars), Chrome (new Dollars name) A young man who sells information for his own enjoyment. He claims to love the entire human race except for Shizuo Heiwajima, and exhibits said love by putting humans in often miserable conditions and observing their reactions. He attended Raira Academy with Shizuo, Shinra and Kadota. According to Shinra, Izaya and Shizuo hated each other with a passion almost from the point they met. In the novels Izaya framed Shizuo for crimes on several occasions. In the anime he puts Shizuo in constant problems, such as gangs attacking him daily up to framing him of crimes. He is a master of parkour, and also quite skilled with his flickblade (the blade he uses must be slightly opened before the mechanics of it springs opens the blade—a switchblade will open on its own after the user presses a switch) as he is implied to be the only one capable of leaving numerous cuts in Shizuo's bartender suit after a fight in the novels. In the anime, he shaves a gang member's head bald without him noticing it. He is also fluent in Russian, which is exhibited in the final episode and episode 13 when he speaks with Simon. Izaya has two younger sisters, Mairu and Kururi, who are twins and troublemakers. He claims to have grown up in a normal family whose only abnormal trait was their naming habits. He does not like his sisters and finds them to be unlovable, saying that if even he can not like them, he expects no one else to ever be able to either. His name comes from a combination of the biblical Isaiah and Japanese for "the one who looks over the crowd." In the novels, Shinra is the only person that Izaya doesn't consider as one of his "humans." Rather, Izaya considers Shinra as his only friend (which is rather rare). In volume 9 of the novels, Izaya treats Shinra as his only friend, letting himself be seen as guilty and put on protective custody for "stabbing" Shinra, which was supposed to be Nakura's fault. It is stated that Izaya greatly envies Shinra because Shinra's standards were far departed from any other human's, even including Izaya's. He had always thought of himself as being in a position to observe humans and therefore standing on a higher pedestal than those around him. But unlike Izaya, Shinra was living in a different world in the real sense of the word. He is a part of the anonymous online gang the Dollars. He is usually seen pretending to be female online and talks in a feminine manner in the chatroom. His screen name is "Kanra."".
- izayoi description "Izayoi is the mother of Inuyasha. In the manga, she has no name. Very little is known about Izayoi as she died before the events of the series takes place and because Inuyasha rarely speaks about her, most likely because he is still saddened by her death. She was the daughter of a feudal lord and at some point she met and fell in love with Inu no Taishou, who returned her affection. Although the two form a relationship it is never specifically stated if the two were married or officially mated. When Inu no Taishou died she was forced to raise their son Inuyasha alone. She was sad that Inuyasha would be discriminated by both humans and demons for his hanyou heritage. It is unknown when she died or what caused her death, but she died when Inuyasha was fairly young. Inyasha's mother's name is never given in the manga but she is given one in the third movie of the series. Sesshomaru blames Izayoi for his father's death, claiming that she made the Inu no Taishou weak which lead to his death.".
- izayoi-sakamaki description "Age: 17 20 (Last Embryo) Izayoi is a young boy with strong psychic powers (Esper). Maybe for that reason he is always bored since there is no one who can challenge him, until he is summoned to another world, the world of Little Garden, by Black Rabbit. There, he aids the 'no names,' a community that was destroyed by a demon lord. Some years before, Izayoi started a certain game: "Try to find me". He was also going to pay some money if someone discovered him. At the same time, if nobody came he was going to do some rampage because the world was too boring for him. Canaria, Izayoi's adoptive mother, discovered him three minutes before the time limit. She made him admit defeat, after all Izayoi had made this game to challenge someone who could be on the same level as him. Then Canaria proposed that she was going to host a game with him. If she won, she would gain a son, if Izayoi won, she would play with him for the rest of her life and even provide a wonderful place for him. With this they both went around the world for 2 years, until Canaria made an orphan institution to help children like Izayoi. It is later revealed that his real last name is "Saigou." His Gift comes from a ''Perpetual Motion Machine'' inside his body, which is in the form of nanomachines.".

- izetta description "Izetta is the titular main character who met Princess Finé when they were children. Prior to the beginning of the series, she attempted to keep her witch heritage a secret by traveling around different countries with her grandmother, which made her shy and self-conscious. With the outbreak of the war she devotes herself to Finé's and Eylstadt's protection, thus breaking her taboo not to use her powers openly. Izetta's magical powers include animating and enhancing objects into tank-busting weapons. They are, however, hugely dependent on the presence of ley lines, which, depending on her current location, limits the frequency at which she can employ them. She is usually seen riding an anti-tank rifle in place of a broom, although she can use any rod-shaped object in a pinch, like medieval cavalry lances. (Source: Wikipedia)".

She is a young-looking woman who wears hip-hop-style clothes that are too big for her. She is the most knowledgeable specialist in the series. Gaen claims to know everything, to the degree where she can predict the future; as a result, she likes to brag about this and her catchphrase is "There is nothing I don't know, I know everything." Although the credibility of her claims over "knowing everything" may be debatable, it can be argued that she is good in taking advantage of what she knows and what other people do not know, allowing her to break down a person's confidence, like Tsubasa's confidence in her knowledge, for example. She has five cellphones and gave Koyomi three of her contact numbers during the events of "Shinobu Time". Compared to Meme, who wants compensation, Kaiki, who works for money, and Yozuru, who works for free, Gaen demands "friendship" as a form of payment. In other words, she demands that people owes her a favors and doesn't pay her now, but later. She doesn't tell when or what favors she wants done and that she is essentially building a network of people who owe her favors, and use these favors as transactions to get what she wanted done. She was the upperclassman of Oshino, Kaiki and Yozuru but has shown some form of dislike towards Yozuru for some reason and it is implied that she has a connection to Kanbaru as her last name is the same as Kanbaru's mother. In Koyomi's case, in exchange for helping him during the events in Onimonogatari, Gaen demanded Koyomi to introduce her to Kanbaru but to keep a secret that Gaen is Kanbaru's aunt.".

Izuku is a very timid and polite boy. Due to being bullied since childhood for being born without a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure, being more reserved and not self expressive, especially in front of Katsuki. However, after being accepted into Yuuei and facing Katsuki during Battle Training, he has gradually become more confident and brave. Izuku is also very diligent and strong willed. Since he greatly admires Heroes and has always aimed to be one, he has a habit of writing down in his notebooks all he knows about heroes and their quirks, including other Yuuei students. He is a very caring person, and will never hesitate to rescue someone in danger, even if he knows he's not strong enough. When someone has a personal problem, Izuku will always try to help, even if its not his business. Izuku also has the tendency to overthink with anything that grabs his attention, which makes him start mumbling to himself a lot. (Source: Boku no Hero Academia Wikia)".

- izumi-curtis description "Izumi Curtis, born Izumi Harnet, the teacher of Ed and Alphonse Elric, agreed to train the brothers to hone their alchemical abilities after their mother died. She expands their training with a regimen of philosophy, martial arts, and living off the land. Her methods are derived from her own alchemy training: in the manga and second anime, she was forced to survive in the northern region surrounding Briggs Fortress for a month (although it turns out she succeeded by stealing supplies from the northern fortress), whereas in the first anime she was taught by Dante. She thinks of the Elrics as her own sons, and although she severs her student-teacher ties with them after learning of their attempts with human transmutation (and similarly Ed's joining the State Military), she continues to do all she can to help them. She can be quite violent when punishing or sparring with the Elric brothers, so they tend to be deathly afraid of her. Her claim of "I'm a housewife!" while confronting Greed was a favorite scene of Arakawa's to draw. Izumi and her husband Sig Curtis (シグ・カーティス, Shigu Ktisu) were expecting a child years before the start of the series; however, their son was stillborn. Izumi tried and failed to revive the child through human transmutation (an act that created Wrath in the first anime). The failed attempt took some of her internal organs, resulting in infertility, and causing her to periodically cough up blood. Izumi gained the ability to use alchemy without a transmutation circle after seeing the "truth." In the manga, Izumi attracts the attention of the State Military for surviving the failed human transmutation. As she and her husband travel around Amestris in order to avoid the military, they eventually meet Ed and Al's father Hohenheim. He rearranges her insides to ease the blood flow, and persuades her to help collaborate in bringing down the State Military.".

He makes several attempts to steal Mitsuki's soul over the course of the series, and although he claims to love Meroko, he only seems to do things that cause her pain (as Takuto points out). It is also revealed later that he was the one who assigned Takuto and Meroko to Mitsuki in order to force Takuto to remember his past life as a human by taking the soul of the daughter of his former friend. In the manga, Izumi is much different. He is not set as the stories antagonist, but merely as someone who has lost his path. He did not do most of the antagonizing things he did in the anime, as he did in the manga. In the manga Arina Tanemura makes him a main character who appears in the story in chapter 5. He eventually lives with Mitsuki and the other Shinigami. In volume 5, we find out his backstory. He was often abused by his bereaved mother when he was 6, and, to make her happy, he threw himself in front of a train, seeing his mother smile, but never understanding what she meant by it. He later took his mother's soul, but was still unsatisfied. As the story progresses Izumi also becomes an important person to Mitsuki and an important person again to Meroko. The two eventually get back together with the aid of Mitsuki. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- izumi-sawatari description "Izumi is one of the three girls who get hired by Yoshitaka. While reluctant about working there she has to work for Yoshitaka as she has a huge debt to pay off. Because Yoshitaka is the way he is, Izumi repeatedly stamps on him and hands out pay to him. Izumi never uses an honorific suffix (-san, -sama, -kun etc.) after Yoshitaka's name. While this usually means the speaker is very close the person, this could also mean a grave insult. Izumi uses it to show her contempt and her complete lack of respect she has for him. As a result, Yoshitaka often places the more difficult (and often pointless) tasks on Izumi. Izumi was originally going to be the "normal" character of the series but she turned out to show violent tendencies towards Yoshitaka and became the "doll" of the household: Everyone, including Mitsuki, messes with her in some sort of sexual tendency much to Izumi's dread. Be it flipping her skirt or attempting to remove her bra, Izumi is constantly being harassed. (Source: Wikipedia)".
