- john-peach comment "John Peach is a boy who fancies himself as the future great hero of MÄR, quite ignorant of his dim-witted and cowardly nature. John Peach is followed by three gelatinous creatures called Burube, Torobe, and Garobe, who care very much for his safety. He has a backpack of ÄRMs that are either too hard for him to use, very weak or do not work right. Hearing about the Chess raid in Vestry, he appeared there just after Ginta defeated Girom and challenged the boy for Team MÄR's leadership, which he lost miserably (as during each contest, just about every ÄRM he used backfired on him). When a group of thieves he had defeated (which was due to sheer dumb luck, since the Demon Tarantula ÄRM they used turned on them instead of him) appeared to take revenge on John Peach, he activated Demon Tarantula, only to had himself and his three friends nearly devoured by it, had it not been for Ginta's help. John Peach left before the Second War Games begun, and returned for once to cheer for MÄR in the Final Battles. He's seen at the end of the anime training with his three friends as he meditates under a waterfall.".

When he meets Nadja, he affects a very haughty attitude, especially when talking to the other members of the Dandelion Troupe, but he secretly envies them for their freedom and pleasure in their craft. John was considered a genius pianist in his home of England, but since coming to France he hasn't been inspired at all. Nadja's sunny personality manages to break John's slump as she gives him ideas about how to be in France yet keep a little bit of Engand with him too. John's encounter with Nadja helps put him back on the path to musical success. He eventually returns the favor by connecting her to an important person in her past. (Taken from "www.niko-niko.net")".

However, when waiting in line for a play, the girl he was with convinced him to cut to the front of the line and bribe the bouncers to throw out the youth in the front of the line, who had been waiting through the night. The youth shot Johnny, resulting in his being paralyzed from the waist down and sent to a hospital, where he was physically abused. Having lost all the friends and respect he had earned as a jockey, no one visited him during his stay in the hospital. Near the beginning of the series Steel Ball Run, Johnny Joestar encountered Gyro Zeppeli and was brought to his feet upon touching Gyro's steel ball. Believing Gyro to be capable of teaching him to walk, Johnny joined the Steel Ball Race and followed him to be trained. Johnny earns a Stand named "Tusk" when they venture into the Devil's Palm as a result of their fight with Dio and Dr. Ferdinand. Tusk is able to fire Johnny's spinning fingernails similar to a revolver, with the nails having to take a few seconds to regrow. This long range attack becomes his primary means of defense. His Stand is small in size and has the same star-pattern over it as on Johnny's clothing, it appears to reside inside of him and only comes out to offer advice. It cannot speak, only make animal-like noises. Later in the series, Johnny masters Gyro's "Spin" technique and uses it with his Stand's fingernail bullets; at one time, even being able to use it on himself. His Stand also evolves although remaining similar in appearance, now able to fire from the toenails on Johnny's paralyzed feet. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- johnny-mcgregor comment "Age: Season 1: 15; Season 3: 17 Bitbeast: Salamalyon The sarcastic Johnny is a true Scotsman and plays tennis and golf as side sports to beyblading. He was the last of the Majestics to be introduced. He takes no prisoners in battle both in and out of the beystadium. Although he acts like a big tough guy, he has a golden heart, as proven in the episode A Lesson For Tyson. He also has a very short temper. Johnny is supposedly known as "The Gladiator of Glasgow" due to his phenomenal Beyblading skills. He loses to Kai during the Majestics vs. The Bladebreakers battle because Kai is given advice (much to his displeasure) by his team mates, while Johnny lacks advice because he only knows how to work as an individual. His Beyblade launcher is in the shape of an axe, and his bit-beast is Salamalyon. From the Get-go Kai and Johnny don't get along. When Johnny wants a battle with Kai in the japanese version of the show Kai "declines" stating that Johnny is a "ignorant bastard" and that Kai only wishes to fight "tougher guys" To which Johnny gets angry and replies saying "You bastard...being cocky to me? Even the Queen pays her respects to me!" From this we can gather that at some point Johnny had met the Queen and that the Queen respects Johnny. But Kai doesn't care anything about this impressive statment and replies to Johnny "You should be deepening your relationship with the Queen." Which shows how Kai doesn't care for ones status. Johnny responses by taking off his glove and throwing it at Kai's back, saying "that is unforgivable!" One would think that the throwing of the glove is a childish thing to do, like when one is frustrated. But Oliver explains that "Johnny is requesting a duel" A duel is an engagement in combat between two individuals, with matched weapons in accordance with their combat style. In medieval times when one would demand satisfaction from the offender,in this case Kai, signaling this demand with an inescapably insulting gesture, such as throwing his glove before him. Other known ways to request a duel would be to slap a glove around your offender's face. In the third season, he makes a cameo appearance when he discovers that the Barthez Battalion were cheating. He informs Tyson of this, but tells him that it is too late to report them, because if they were disqualified it would unbalance the entire championships too late in the game. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- joichiro-nishi comment "First appearance in manga: Chapter 1 First appearance in anime: Season 1, Episode 1 Jouichirou Nishi is a middle-school veteran of the Gantz world, having arrived there over a year before the beginning of the series. While running away from police officers after shoplifting, he fled onto an apartment building roof where he fell to his death. Much like how Kurono started out, he is also selfish and has a Social Darwinist approach to life. Nishi is reluctant to reveal anything about the Gantz or himself, but he runs a web site where he posts information about it (carefully avoiding Gantz's rule about informing outsiders, which would in turn prove fatal). Gantz calls him "Mr. Nishi," which is rather interesting given how informally or derisively he refers to most of the other participants. Nishi is killed at the beginning of the Tanaka/Suzuki Alien mission, but after six months of existing only inside Gantz's memory banks, he is revived by Kaze at Kurono's request following the end of the Oni mission. Ostensibly, Kurono hopes that Nishi will be able to provide information about Gantz to the game players. After being ostracized and bullied by his classmates, which ended with them hurling him out of the classroom window, he has killed all of them (except one girl who had a crush on him and did not support the rest in wanting to chase him out of the school). After this, civil armed forces are sent to kill Nishi. Nishi manages to kill many of the men sent to kill him, but after an intense battle with the armed forces he is severely wounded and was only able to avoid death because Gantz called the Hunters for a new mission.".

Jokaku's inability to control of the court resulted in her withdrawal into the Inner Palace and refused to involve herself in governing Kei. She became susceptible to flattery and elaborate gifts from her advisors - including a small village of elderly people and children that she would frequent in order to teach children embroidery and poetry, reflecting the ideal life she wanted; this gift was from Gahou, who Jokaku rewarded by making him the governor of Wa. Her sister, Joei, encouraged Jokaku's withdrawn behavior and used Jokaku's affection for her in order to gain power in court. In hopes of improving Keiki's relationship with Jokaku, the Genkun Gyokuyo on Mount Hou, arranged for Keiki to help Taiki and learn to be more sensitive to the feelings of others. However, Keiki's awkward kindness caused Jokaku to fall in love with him. Out of jealousy, she banned all the women from the palace and then the entire country, so that no else could take advantage of Keiki's kindness. Jokaku's tyranny continued until Keiki fell ill with shitsudou. Grief-striken, Jokaku realized that she had lost the way and ascended Mount Hou to abdicate her throne and end her life in order to save Keiki. (Source: wikia)".

- joker-306a94cf-7d9b-45a8-af38-b3885f0ae660 comment "Joker is the main protagonist of the series, stealing precious artifacts as he pleases. He's immensely passionate about his job as a phantom thief, and goes as far as to get noticeably offended and verbal at the accusation of being called a simple and petty thief. He believes himself to be a miracle maker which hands out advance notices, giving fair ground and footing between the victim and himself. Joker believes this is very different from thieves who commonly resort to the tactic of sneaking and going about their business unnoticed in a cowardly fashion. Joker is seen to have a teasing and mischievous behavior to some things; taunting opponents with humorous yet somewhat rude comments, borderline bullying, and even making side comments about deeds that most certainly would not side with heroic tendencies. Despite such, he very rarely goes through with what's within his words of teasing, as it seems to just be a way to fluster and anger his unfortunate victim. Joker had a strong relationship with mother and father before their passing. His father had promised him the key to one of their family treasures, a key that had caught Joker's eye far more than the treasure itself. This would only be if he was able to solve a puzzle while his father and mother were off on a trip. Due to a plane crash, Joker's father and mother were killed and would never return. Joker was originally intrigued and inspired to become a phantom thief by Silver Heart as a child. By the display of being a 'miracle maker' during the conflict between them and Professor Clover, 'Jack' and soon to be 'Joker', sneakily hid upon Silver Heart's plane and made it clear he had no intention of going back to his house; but to become a genuine phantom thief like him. Joker received the scar upon his left eye due to an incident as a child. Joker at this time was in his phantom thief training alongside Spade and Queen. After sneaking out against Silver Heart's wishes, Joker met Cyan and Rose, a sibling pair that resided in a village that 'had no name'. This was to prevent it from becoming known to the world, as Rose held magical 'witch-like' powers that would most likely be abused if found out. With fear of Silver Heart's wrath upon his return, Joker a bit cruelly had Cyan dress up as himself and pushed towards going back to pose as him. Joker cruised around with Rose before Cyan was found out, and he escaped to return as he was absolutely fed up with what he was forced to deal with. Before Cyan could reach the village in time, it was attacked and destroyed in order to find 'the Witch', Rose. Cyan arrived on the scene as the village was crumbling due the flames of the fire set to the houses, panicking and searching for Rose in a swift attempt to assure her safety. This plan failed, as he was shot in the chest and tumbled down the side of a bridge into water after resistance by the offenders working under none other than the main antagonist known as Professor Clover. With Joker's struggle to keep Rose safe as well, a gun shot grazed his left eye and engraved what was a permanent and ugly scar that he now paints over with dark blue face paint. Rose was captured, and Joker would not hear of either Rose or Cyan until a long while afterwards... ".

He only shows up twice after that to save Keith at Nasca and right before meeting Jomy to deliver tea/coffee. His Mu powers are barely even remarked upon. His death is not shown onscreen and his fate is unknown The name "Makka" is from a misreading of マツカ as マッカ where half-height 'tsu' indicates a repeated sound of the following kana. - jonathan-joestar comment "As an infant, his mother died in a carriage accident. That same accident indirectly brought Dio Brando into his life, because Dario, Dio's father, unwittingly saved Jonathan's father while he was preparing to steal from the wrecked carriage. Twelve years later, Dario apparently died of illness and Dio went to live amongst the Joestars. Dio, despite Jonathan trying to be friends with him, would become his nemesis both as a childhood rival and as an undead enemy. At the young age of 12, when Dio came into his life, he meets and falls in love with Erina Pendleton, but Dio shatters this relationship for a considerable time through his evil ways, by kissing Erina and boasting about it. Nonetheless, Jonathan is able to maintain his sanity and his studies in archaeology. Among his interests is research on a Mesoamerican stone mask that is part of the estate. Curiously, the mask sprouts spikes that pierce the wearer's skull if human blood touches it. Finally after eight years, Jonathan takes a stand against Dio when he discovers that Dio poisoned his own father with a substance that imitated illness, and his plot to poison George in the same way and take over the family fortune. So JoJo travels to ogre street in order to find an antidote which he finds thanks to the help of his new comrade Robert Edward O Speedwagon. In their fateful encounter, Dio stabs George while wearing the mask--Dio has learned that the mask is not a killing device, but a means to let the wearer transcend humanity and mortality (and anything resembling moral restraint) to become a mighty vampire. In the first confrontation with this new monster, Jonathan holds his own, but in his desperation to destroy Dio, Jonathan sets fire to the manor. in the battle, Jonathan, torn by the losses caused, grabs Dio and pulls him down many floors, ultimately impaling him on a goddess statue. However, Jonathan suffers horrible burns and is taken to hospital, whereas Dio is able to escape unseen. Robert E.O Speedwagon watches Jonathan being looked after and finds out that the nurse taking care of him is Erina, who had gone to India after Dio disgraced her and Jonathan's relationship--but not, after all, extinguished it. Shortly after being discharged from the hospital. Jonathan is taken in by Will Zeppeli, who teaches him hamon in order to defeat Dio. He travels with Zeppeli and Speedwagon to the town of Windknights to confront Dio. On his quest he faces many enemies such as Jack the Ripper and Bruford and Tarkus. And once again manages to seemingly defeat the vampire. Shortly after the Windknights battle, Jonathan and Erina marry, and soon set sail for America for a honeymoon. Their trip is cut short by an attack by Dio, now only a severed head, and Jonathan makes the supreme sacrifice, staying aboard the sinking ship in an attempt to take Dio down with him. Erina, pregnant with Jonathan's child, escapes the shipwreck. (Source: Wikipedia)".
