- kagato description "Kagato is a being of incredible intelligence and power. He wanders the universe collecting artifacts from civilizations and stealing them from museums, often destroying them in the process. He keeps them on his ship which also serves as a mobile command base and power control system, preventing his energies from being drained in prolonged bouts. It also sports a full-sized orchestral organ in the main chamber. His intelligence and cunning is enough that he even managed to capture Washu, whom he once worked with. He came to Earth in OAV episode five, having tracked Ryoko down to recapture her and force her to do his bidding again. During the encounter he fought against Tenchi, winning easily, and then against Yosho who wielded the sword Tenchi against him but was unable to prevail. The battle a draw, Kagato retreated to his ship with Ryoko, placing her inside a containment field. Though Ayeka and the others gave chase to his ship, with Ryo-Ohki carrying Ryu-Oh's control module with Tenchi inside operating the Lighthawk wings, Kagato proved too strong with his ship. The beam destroyed the shield that had been formed from Ryu-Oh's lighthawk wings and destroyed Tenchi. Later on, a revived and rejuvenated Tenchi one again faced off against Kagato, and this time Tenchi prevailed, and cutting through both Kagato and his ship. Kagato evaporated and his ship exploded while they escaped. (source: Absolute Anime)".
- kagato-girl description "In the final episode of the third OVA, it was revealed that Kagato was actually a hermaphrodite, having long discarded the female half out of spite for the gender. That gentler female half had resided within Noike Jurai, whereas Dr. Clay had placed a seal on the girl, preventing the female Kagato from completely merge with Noike. This had allowed Z to spy on the family through Noike's eyes while he plotted to kill Tenchi. During the battle with Z, Tenchi was cut in half when he went to save Ryoko from a similar fate. It was during the brief instant in-between that Tenchi was able to meet the girl Kagato, who was found crying during a battle. Tenchi was able to comfort the girl, telling her everything was alright. Girl Kagato then asked if she could stay with him forever, which he agreed. But before Tenchi could inquire about something she said (during the battle, she pleaded, obviously to her male half that she was a Kagato too), he was drawn back into the battle with Z, with the girl pleading him not to leave her. After Washu had noted that, before Z's attack that she knew that he was spying on them through Noike, it was found out that the Kagato cells were in her (the cells had Clay's logo on them), Tokimi used her powers to remove the female Kagato from Noike. Soon, Washu was able to remove the seal, and the female Kagato soon fully merged with Noike. ".
- kagato-jurai description "Kagato Jurai was once a swordsman whose skill was well renowned throughout the Jurai empire. Some said that if things hadn't turned out the way they did, Kagato might have been renowned as Jurai's greatest swordsman. But Kagato had became overly obsessed with refining his own Jurai power, and challenged many people to duels... and won. As his obsession grew, he began to lose more and more of himself. Finally, his brother Yosho had challenged him, in which Yosho had won. Kagato had later disappeared into the darkness of the galaxy, building his own dark Jurai power until he felt he could return to Jurai and claim the throne. By then, Yosho had already left Jurai with Haruna for Earth. It was a simple matter years later for Kagato to claim that HE was Yosho. Kagato then had arrested or killed all the other claimants to the Jurai throne... all except Ayeka and Sasami. Since he knew that the two princesses were on Earth, he sent a Jurai battleship to arrest them. They did so by transporting up the Masaki house, where they confronted Ayeka. Ryoko was also arrested for her crimes. But later, with the help of Mihoshi and Kiyone, Tenchi, Nobuyuki, Washu, and Katsuhito had rescued them. Kagato had found that, after a lengthy pursuit, that the fugitives had settled in what used to be the old palace. It was there that Kagato had once again challenged Yosho, who was now the elderly Katsuhito Masaki. This time Kagato had won, wounding Katsuhito in the process. Kagato then took on Ryoko and wounded her as well. Afterward, he had captured Ayeka and took her to Jurai, leaving Tenchi to rescue her. After Tenchi (with the help of a wounded Ryoko and the knights Azaka and Kamidake) entered the palace and confronting the evil knights Tetta and Tessei, he confronted Kagato. At first, Kagato's might was too much for Tenchi. But after Ayeka had used her power to intercede, the whole of the Jurai power had recognized Tenchi as the true heir to the Jurai throne. Thus empowered, Tenchi once again faced Kagato... and this time defeated him. As Kagato knelt dying, he turned and saw the image of a youthful Yosho in Tenchi, and with his last words said, "Yosho, looks like I've lost again," then he died. (source: Absolute Anime)".

Kariya has not drawn his sword in quite some time being that there hasn't been an opponent worthy of him in years, according to Goroujuu, a member of the Shogun's council who visits him. Upon learning of Sara's death, he determines that Mugen and Jin must be worthy adversaries, and brings himself out of retirement in order to face them. Although employed by the Shogunate, his truer motives are to use the government to further his own needs since the age of the samurai is ending. His calm and collected demeanor hides a cold and manipulative personality. Kariya attempted to gain control of the Mujushin Dojo and is the one responsible for ordering Mariya Enshirou to kill Jin. He is ordered to seek out and kill Kasumi Seizou, the Sunflower Samurai, for his role in the Shimabara Rebellion as well as Kasumi's heir—Fuu. Regarded amongst his peers as "The Hand Of The Gods" for his divine skills, being said that there is possibly no one in existence capable of defeating him, he is arguably the strongest fighter in the "Champloo Universe." He fights Mugen and Jin simultaneously, easily handling Mugen's fighting style and defeating Jin in a standoff. Similar to Shouryuu yet even more powerful, he is a master of his ki and is able to use it with great force both offensively and defensively, and to an almost supernatural level, hardly making anyone his equal (though Kariya admits that Jin is closer to his level than any opponent he has faced in years, but still the lesser, by a paper-thin margin). As Fuu is finally running towards the hut where her father is, a vision of Kariya appears in front of her, with his quote about the scent of sunflowers. He could be said to be the 'perfect Samurai' Fuu imagined her father as, though his actions in seeking Fuu's death after killing her father show this ideal to be as non-existent as Kariya states. Jin finally defeats Kariya by sacrificing his own body to breach Kariya's defense. The move Jin uses to kill Kariya was the last technique taught to him by his master, Mariya Enshirou. Although Mariya described the technique as suicidal, Jin manages to survive. (Source: Samurai Champloo Wikia)".

She has a quiet voice and seems rather sad and lonely at times due to the fact that she doesn't seem to know a lot of people or have many friends at that. After becoming friends with Chikaru, Kizuna and Remon, she started to follow them around as well and became a member of their tight-knit group. She is apparently also fond of Nagisa Aoi from Miator, due to an incident between them which involved an umbrella. She seems to have a high degree of artistic abilities, as is shown when she is building sand castles, or acting in Romeo and Juliet. She also seems to have a heightened perception of others' emotions and can tell when those around her are deeply distraught or in emotional pain. (Source: Wikipedia)".
- kagome-higurashi description "Age: 15-16 Birthday: 2 March Eye color: blue (manga) , brown (anime) Hair color: black Height: 160 cm Weight: 49 kg The female protagonist and a third year middle school student. In the tradition of many Rumiko Takahashi heroines (Lum, Akane Tendo, Kyoko Otonashi), Kagome can be extremely sweet, but can also become very dangerous when provoked. She is bold and determined to help others regardless of the cost. It is because of her that Inuyasha is able to make more friends. Her kind heart and beauty results in several men falling in love with her throughout their journey. InuYasha wears a special bead necklace (known as the Beads of Subjugation) which only responds to Kagome's command: when she yells "Sit!" ("Osuwari!") (Often "Sit, boy!" in the dub) InuYasha is thrown to the ground. The necklace was placed upon him due to his dangerous attitude when he was unsealed. As the series continues, Kagome uses the necklace less and less. It is scarcely used by this point in time, and is purely comedic relief when it is. She is the reincarnation of a priestess 50 years ago, named Kikyo, the previous protector of the shikon no tama. As fate would have it, Kagome also develops feelings of strong love for InuYasha. This relationship proves to be a driving point of the series. Her archery and spiritual powers develop as the series progresses. By the end of the series, Kagome is a powerful miko with superb archery skills and control over her spiritual powers. She marries Inuyasha and lives with him in the feudal era for the rest of her life.".

- kagura description "Age: 14 Birthday: November 3 Zodiac: Scorpio Height: 155 cm Weight: 40 kg Kagura, meaning "god-entertainment" is a member of the Yorozuya alongside Sakata Gintoki and Shinpachi Shimura and the main female protagonist of Gintama. Although she appears to be a normal, cute, human girl in Chinese-style clothing, she actually belongs to the Yato Clan, one of the strongest and most bloodthirsty of the Amanto races. The Yato are said to have "transparent" skin that is highly sensitive to sunlight, so Kagura carries a purple parasol at all times. The parasol is also the Yato clan's weapon of choice; Kagura's is bulletproof and fires bullets from its tip. Because of her Yato blood, she is super-strong and can stop a speeding motor-scooter with one hand. Although stronger than most humans, she cannot control her strength perfectly. Her super-human strength makes her extremely bad with pets. Most of her pets, with the exception of Sadaharu, have met with an untimely demise by her hands. She is also extremely flexible and fast; capable of catching multiple speeding bullets between her teeth and fingers. During battle, she's often seen flipping through the air and performing various acrobatic feats. Due to her Yato blood, she is capable of rapid regeneration. During the Benizakura arc, she is seen healing from a gunshot wound almost overnight. Kagura also has an unusually strong appetite. She is able to consume large quantities of food within a matter of seconds. Nevertheless, her tastes are endearingly plain. Sukonbu, rice, and eggs are among her favorite foods. Her immediate family consists of her father, Umibouzu, a widely recognized alien hunter, her mother, who is deceased, and her older brother Kamui, once presumed missing who is now involved with the space pirates Harusame. She came to Earth to earn money for her family. She found work fighting for a gang, but when they ordered her to kill her target, she ran away. Not long afterwards, she met Gintoki and Shinpachi when Gintoki accidentally ran her down with his scooter. After they helped her to make a clean break from the gang, she intimidated Gintoki into hiring her. She now lives at the Yorozuya and sleeps in Gintoki's closet, like Doraemon. Kagura and Gintoki share an odd brother-younger sister-like relationship. Together with Shinpachi, the three of them makes for a strange, dysfunctional, yet tightly knit family. Kagura is very protective of Gintoki. Although, she herself has gotten into many fights with him, she rarely lets anyone else pick on him. She seems to trust wholeheartedly in Gintoki's ability and strength. Even in sticky situations, she has no doubt that Gin-chan would come and save her. She has a tendency to imitate Gintoki's bad habits (like picking her nose or swearing, hence her unladylike behavior) and would often quote the bad advice he gives her. Some of her lines starts with "Gin-chan says..." or "Gin-chan told me..." Kagura is also somewhat of a tomboy. She is often seen partaking in games with various neighborhood boys. Although her candid manner of speech often cause them to shun her, she doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she has no problem at all with forcing her way into their game. In battle, she has proven to be bull-headed and a sore loser. Like Gintoki, and probably because of his influence, she is not above resorting to petty tricks and manipulation to get the better of her adversary. Unlike many conventional manga heroines, she doesn't display the same consciousness toward decorum, table manners and physical appearance. Puking, cussing, picking her nose, spitting, fighting, and scratching herself are common behavior for Kagura. She regards Okita, captain of the Shinsengumi, as a rival. She detests him, and appeared to be disgusted when she previously mentioned (about Okita), that "he definitely likes me", but as that hasn't been brought up since, it is uncertain on if it should be considered canon, that he apparently likes her. Although Kagura usually teases Shinpachi, she deeply cares for him and thinks of him as a brother. She also shows great respect toward his older sister, Shimura Tae, often calling her "Anego" (a term gangster women use to show respect). Her super-human strength makes her extremely bad with pets. Most of her pets, with the exception of Sadaharu (being her 27th pet), have met with an untimely demise by her hands (with the exception of Safdaharu 28', a beetle killed by Okita). She cuddles with Sadaharu when feeling down. Kagura also seems to be the only one (aside from Ane, Mone and Komako) who Sadaharu listens to. According to the OVA, Kagura is the first and only Weekly Shonen Jump girl to vomit on-screen. To date, she has induced herself to vomit on several occasions. She also has an uncanny knack for seeming calm or detached during high-tension situations; in episode 5, she slept through a car-chase. Her appetite knows no bounds, and she is especially fond of sukonbu. In Japanese, Kagura speaks in a stereotypical dialect that is associated with Chinese immigrants. In the English-translated manga, she punctuates her sentences with yup, uh-huh (aru), nope, and the like. In the Yoshiwara in Flames arc, Kagura meets her older brother, Kamui who abandoned her because she was weak in his eyes. During the Yoshiwara in Flames arc, Kagura and Shinpachi teamed up against a Yato veteran named Abuto. When Shinpachi was mortally wounded by Abuto, Kagura can no longer hold against her Yato blood and revealed her true inner killing instincts against Abuto. Abuto is easily overwhelmed by Kagura's true power. In the last Gintama character popularity poll, she came in 6th place.".

- kagura-5652a927-cfce-4f9e-b589-08a8b0ac7b0e description "Kagura (lit. Music of the gods) is a wind sorceress created from Naraku's own body. Despite this, she has her own mind and is willing to fight desperately for freedom. Her first appearance involves Kagura's use of the "Shikabane Mai," or "Dance of the Dead," to lure out Koga's companions and slaughter them. Following this, she splattered Inuyasha in the blood, causing Koga to arrive to "avenge his companions." Unbeknownst to Koga, he has a false Shikon no Tama shard rather than the real one-and upon severly injuring Inuyasha, he is immobilized by Kagura's fake. Assured that she has won the battle, Kagura steps forward to take the real shikon shards as well as Koga's life. This is interrupted by Inuyasha, who proceeds to fight Kagura and is on the verge of being killed when he is finally able to interrupt Kagura's winds to unleash a Kaze no Kizu. Surprised, Kagura flees, briefly showing a spider-shaped burn scar on her back similar to Naraku's. She realizes that Naraku has been using her and proceeds to attack him, being stopped when he squeezes her heart and tells him that he holds her life in his hands. Since then, Kagura has worked to kill him, often using others. Following the first meeting, Kagura encounters Inuyasha and defeats him easily with the help of Kanna. Naraku orders her to carry out much of his work, but does not regret losing her when she openly betrays him. Kagura meets Sesshoumaru and decides his strength is enough to destroy Naraku. She locates Toukijin and tells him where it is, and then watches his fighting skills. Later, when he realizes she is using him, Kagura does not deny it, but rather comes clean about it. Over time, Kagura becomes increasingly reckless in her attempts to kill Naraku and begins to use Inuyasha as a pawn as well. She often attacks Koga, feeling he is useless in her plans. Naraku often teams Kagura with Kohaku to do his jobs. When both realize that the other is also after Naraku's life, they become allies and plot together to destroy his heart. Eventually, Hakudoushi and Moryoumaru come after Kohaku's shikon shards, Kagura protects him at the cost of her own life. Naraku mocks her, giving back her heart and then subsequently poisoning her. Kagura realizes she has a short time to live, and flying away, falls into a field of flowers. There she notices she can no longer move and begins to despair. Sesshoumaru shows up, following the scent of Naraku's miasma and having realized Kagura was in danger. He attempts to save her with Tenseiga, but this does not work. Soon after, Inuyasha's team arrives and Kagura dissolves into the wind, happy to have been able to see Sesshoumaru before she died. Kagura's death supplied Sesshoumaru's heart with enough new feelings to allow the growth of his sword, Tenseiga. The wind blows as he promises to make her death worth something. This same strong, but not dangerous, wind appears to Kanna, and she notes that it is Kagura. Naraku replaces Kagura with Byakuya, his final incarnation.".
- kagura-65b6bbc1-5c16-4884-b123-4f3442040aff description "Height: 156 cm Her name comes from Shinto ritual: the kanji for Kagura (神楽) meaning "entertainment of the gods". It was used to describe the traditional music played at shrines and the Imperial Court. Kagura also makes a cameo appearance as an anthropologist in Classroom of Thesis; From the Report to the Graduation Thesis by Kazuhisa Todayama which refers to several other Azumanga Daioh characters. While she makes appearances earlier on as one of Nyamo's students, Kagura doesn't become a true acquaintance of the group until sometime later, joining Yukari's class in the 2nd year (Yukari selects her as a ringer to win the school athletic competitions). She devotes most of her time to the swim team but is an all-around good athlete. Thanks to her dedication to swimming Kagura receives some rather pronounced tan lines during the summer months, which friends like Osaka waste no time in pointing out. She also has a one-sided rivalry with Sakaki and attempts to outdo her in all things, be it playing softball, sprinting, or even eating lunch. This is how her character was introduced to the rest of the cast, when during 1st year's field day, she was defeated by Sakaki in a running event. The next time the two meet, Kagura has decided to make Sakaki her rival, yet she also makes continuous attempts to be a good friend to Sakaki. Unfortunately for her, Sakaki is a natural athlete (and doesn't remember a thing about running against Kagura during the first Athletics Fest, which stuns Kagura) and defeats her in almost everything except stamina events. Like her would-be rival, she is sometimes embarrassed when Tomo calls attention to her large breasts. (Source: Wikipedia)".
