Kariko thought that she was Sailor Moon, and rushed over to confront her, demanding that she hand over the Ginzuishou. She then stepped back, and several salon attendants surrounded her. She and the attendants came together to form the youma Mitsuami. Meanwhile, Usagi managed to crawl to safety and transform into Sailor Moon. When the real Sailor Moon showed up, Mitsuami left Minako alone long enough for her to transform into Sailor Venus and contact the other Senshi. After a brief battle, Sailor Moon used Moon Healing Escalation to heal Mitsuami, causing her to transform back into Kariko and the salon attendants. Later, Kariko returned to her ordinary life.
