- kyoko-honda comment "Tohru's mother: When she was young, Kyoko caused trouble and cut classes, and was disowned by her parents following a gang fight. She hated her family, as her father felt she wasn't needed in the world and her mother only cared about the appearance of the family. She was also the leader of an all-female suicide gang. In this she was called "The Red Butterfly," the name originating from the legend of how the tail lights on her motorcycle danced like a bright red butterfly when she rode at night; however, Kyoko later moved on and got a job. At some point, Kyoko fell in love with a student teacher named Katsuya Honda, which contributed to her leaving her gang. After she was beaten by her gang and disowned by her parents, he stood up for her and proposed to her. They shortly married and had a daughter, Tohru. Katsuya became a positive influence in her life, and they worked through difficulties in a joint effort. When he died from illness, however, Kyoko descended into a deep, almost depression-like sadness, neglected Tohru, and almost committed suicide by throwing herself into the sea, thinking she could go meet Katsuya (Kyoko had never seen the ocean before, so Katsuya took her one day). Just as she was about to jump however, Kyoko came to her senses as she saw a girl and her mother by the seaside; she came back home and found little Tohru waiting for her return at the door, similar to how Katsuya greeted her. Kyoko then vowed to never again disregard Tohru for whatever reason; she raised Tohru by herself, not to mention the care she offered Arisa Uotani and Saki Hanajima, Tohru's best friends. When Tohru disappeared one day as a young child Kyoko was in hysterics, even going so far as to threaten the police if they did not find her. - kyoko-morooka comment "Kyoko is the head and only member of the Eiken clubs science division as well as a former science club member. Despite resembling a small child, she is actually 14 years old. Even in a photograph taken from when she was younger, she doesn't appear to have grown in height or appearance much. Although she acts tough she likes cute things, such as kittens and a fictional action hero in the series called Nekomanman. She is secretly quite jealous of the other girls in the club for having such bodies while she still resembles a small child, but hides it by saying since she plans to be a scientist she doesn't need to be tall or curvaceous. In the previously mentioned photograph, her mother is about as tall as an ordinary person so it might be possible that her father was quite short, or she has yet to go through a growth spurt. In a dream Densuke had, Kyoko was seen to be tall and beautiful ten years into the future. Her father passed away several years before the series, leaving her mother to raise Kyoko alone. However, she was recruited as the top engineer for a foreign company, leaving Kyoko by herself. Even though Kyoko says she is proud of her mother, she still misses her terribly. Kyoko appears to live in a science facility built in a large canyon. The exact location is unknown. She usually treats Densuke like a guinea pig for her inventions, but it is also possible she likes him as well, evidenced when she repeatedly threatens him when he, like with all the other girls, ends up doing something she considers perverted. Although due to her appearance it is much more downplayed than with the other girls. (Source: Eiken Wiki)".

She has relatively few speaking lines, though she does appear in The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina - Episode 00, Episode 6, and Episode 14, fulfilling the duties of an irrepressible younger sister. She has even fewer lines and appearances in the original novel version than the anime's rendition. Usually, her presence is made apparent whenever Kyon is at home. She is carefree, happy and playful and is also the force behind the use of the nickname "Kyon"; after she heard their aunt call her older brother such, she started using the nickname as well in front of his school friends. From there, the name spread and eventually stuck. She seems to get along well with all of the SOS Brigade, especially with Mikuru, sharing a sister-like relationship with her. Source: Wikipedia".

- kyoshiro-mibu comment "Mibu Kyoushirou's personality is almost a direct opposite of the series' main character, Demon Eyes Kyou. Awkward and funny at the beginning of the adventure, Mibu Kyoushirou is, in fact, a frightening combatant called "the Demon-God" who is the only one to have beaten Kyou. Kyoushirou has the ability to transfer human souls. He uses this to transfer Kyou's soul into his own body while hiding Kyou's body. He killed many people in the past, including the brother of Shiina Yuya, Shiina Nozomu. He is actually a high ranked Mibu and is gifted in the handling of a sword and is thought to be the best swordsman of the clan to date. He knows the techniques of the Mumyou Jinpu Ryuu and is also the former owner of the Shibien. As far as areas of comparison go, his skill and potential rank him equal to Kyo and just below the former Crimson King. His only wish is to protect Sakuya, whom he is in love with along with Kyou before the battle of Sekigahara. It is seen in the manga that he had always been in love with Sakuya and Kyou is a dear, close friend who cares for them both. He cares greatly for Yuya and would do anything to protect her, saying he will not let Kyou have her. Also, it is noted by Sasuke how Kyoushirou looks at Yuya tenderly as seen in Chapter 234. Mibu Kyoushirou is one of the Red Cross Knights, created from the flesh and blood of the former Aka no Ou. He was a killing machine, but he had a very friendly heart, he only became friendly with Sakuya's influence. He was also a master of Mumyo Jinpu Ryuu Satsujin Ken. He once wielded the Shibien, one of Muramasa's Devil Swords, and killed many people with it until the sword turned black in color because it absorbed too much blood. In the end of the manga it is shown that Kyoushirou is living with Sakuya and visits Yuya and Kyou.".

He and his siblings have supernatural powers, referred to in the series as "The Power", and are described as espers in the series. They are forbidden from using their powers in public, lest they be discovered and exploited. In each instance where someone has seen their powers, the family has immediately relocated. Kyosuke's esper powers include teleportation, telekinesis, and "time-slipping" (a kind of a time travel) while falling from heights such as stairs. He can alter mechanical devices such as elevators and traffic lights. He can direct his powers to his ears to amplify his hearing and he has also demonstrated a hypnotism power as evidenced when he hypnotized himself to be more decisive. Kyosuke is also rarely shown to use his powers to temporarily amplify his speed and strength. On very rare occasions—generally, when Madoka is directly threatened—his power has taken the form of raw energy that can shatter concrete walls or short out every light in a disco. Kyosuke is a pretty gentle person and a bit of a goody-goody—when he sees Madoka smoking, he scolds her in a very nerdy way (and then uses his powers to destroy her cigarette). It is his indecisiveness that leads to the love triangle with Hikaru and Madoka. He is initially unable to decide between his feelings for Hikaru and Madoka. As the story progresses however, he find himself unable to end the relationship with Hikaru for fear of hurting her feelings and destroying her friendship with Madoka.".

- kyosuke-kiryu comment "Age: 19 Birthday: November 1 Height: 184 cm Weight: 68 kg Kiryuu Kyousuke is seen as one of Yuusei's friends and he plays a major role in S2 [S1 Arc 2] in the Signer vs Dark Signer war. Prior to the 5D's timeline, Kiryuu had been the leader of a legendary dueling team called Team Satisfaction, which consisted of Fudou Yuusei, Jack Atlus, Crow Hogan, and himself as the founder and leader. However, later on, Kiryuu's motives for the team had changed, even after they had conquered all of Satellite. In their "Last Duel" against Security, Kiryuu places several bombs on a group of Duel Disks and when he activated the switch, those disks blew up as a result. After this event, Crow, Jack, and Yuusei, who had left the team earlier, found Kiryuu in an abandoned building. Even though the three of them tried to prevent Kiryuu from doing anything else dangerous, Kiryuu managed to murder a police officer. Kiryuu was at last caught by Security after this event, even after Yuusei tried to convince Security that he was the leader of Team Satisfaction that blew up the duel disks. However, Security did not buy his story and arrested Kiryuu. Noticing Yuusei, Kiryuu had thought that he had sold him out, which was far from the truth. Even after Yuusei protested that was not the case, Kiryuu still harbored feelings of hatred towards him especially, even after being thrown into prison. It is believed that Kiryu had died as a result of one of the beatings he received in the Detention Centre. Kiryuu was later resurrected as a Dark Signer under Rudger's powers. Kiryu harbored the Owl (or Astronaut) mark on his left arm and his deck changed completely, for the deck had to be changed in order to satisfy the summoning requirements for his Earthbound God [Immortal], Ccapac Apu. Kiryuu was the first of the Dark Signers to appear to Yuusei and the others, two of them being Signers. Yuusei, Jack, and Crow are surprised to see him, thinking he was still in prison. Kiryuu was fixed on destroying Yuusei and this was clearly his intent from the beginning of their duel. Kiryuu almost annihilates Yuusei during their duel, and he would have, if it weren't for Yusei's D-Wheel breaking down from the pressure. Kiryuu was also one of the Dark Signers present after Yuusei had finished dueling Rudger, calling Yuusei weak. However, Yuusei's opposite reaction surprised Kiryuu very much. The second time the two of them dueled, Kiryuu used the same tactics against Yuusei, in hopes of sparking fear inside of him like the last time. However, this strategy fails and Yusei manages to turn the tables by summoning Savior Star Dragon, defeating Ccapac Apu and Kiryuu once and for all. Kiryuu, although being offered help by Yuusei, fell into the flames after his defeat, but he still managed to survive for a little bit. He then apologizes to Yuusei, saying that he couldn't have been satisfied with something like this. With those words, his body turns to dust, the way a Dark Signer dies after he or she has been defeated in a duel. Towards the end of S2 [S1 Arc 2], he is seen with the other former Dark Signers unconscious in the realm where Yuusei meets the Godwin brothers, Rex and Rudger. Later, when everyone is revived, it is mentioned that Kiryuu had gone on a trip. Season 3 [Season 2] In the next season, Kiryu is revealed to have been residing in a town called Crash Town ever since he has been revived. However, unlike Carly who has no recollection of her journey as a Dark Signer, he vaguely remembers the events that occurred while he was a Dark Signer. He remembers the pain he inflicted on many innocent people, causing him to receive tremendous guilt in his heart. In Crash Town, he was part of Ramon's Dueling Gang and he was greatly honored, earning the title "Sensei". He was also regarded by Nico as an older brother, for Nico strongly admired him. However, in Crash Town, if you lost a duel, you were taken up into the mountains where you had to work until you died or couldn't work any more. Kiryu's aim was to reach that place, for he felt that justice would be served that way. However, when Yusei shows up and challenges him to a duel, Yusei defeats him, in hopes that Barbara, the lady that told Yusei to come to Crash Town, would keep her word. Unfortunately for Yusei and Kiryu, Barbara betrays the both of them, for she wanted to get rid of Kiryu from the start. The unfortunate result was that the two of them were taken to the mines, where they were forced to work. Kiryu had shown no desire of leaving the mines at all, feeling that his life was worthless. However, Yusei had a different plan in mind. He wanted the two of them to leave the mine and restore justice to Crash Town. Even when Kiryu resisted strongly to the idea, Yusei continues to move forward, resorting to even punching Kiryu in the stomach to take him along. The two then meet West and his older sister, Nico, who had taken Yusei's D-Wheel from Crash Town. Yusei takes his D-Wheel and goes to find Lotten, leaving Kiryu and the children to find the children's father, who was a prisoner in the mine, and break him out However, this proves to be quite the challenge as the keepers of the mine began to chase them. With the price of the children's father's life, Kiryu and the children were able to escape the Red Scarves. He promises the children that he would show them his will to live again, no matter what happened. Towards the end of Lotten and Yusei's duel, Kiryu and the children are seen by Yusei, surprising him very much. However, Lotten throws a dynamite stick and it explodes, leaving the riding duel with no result, and the children and Yusei and Kiryu are seen falling into an abyss. At the bottom, Kiryu and Yusei seem to be okay, despite the tremendous fall. Despite Yusei's protest, Kiryu still believed that he wasn't able to help anyone in the end. However, after Yusei points out that there was still life, even in the graveyard of duel disks, Kiryu understands that the mountains wasn't a place to die in. Then, he takes one of the duel disks and he declares himself the Death God once again, vowing to save Nico and West by himself. Yusei tells him that he would fight alongside him. Kiryu nods, asking Yusei to lend him his strength to help him become truly satisfied. Kiryu then enters Crash Town, which had been renamed to Lotten Town, playing his harmonica, just as he had in episode 86. He then stops and says that he has returned from the bottom of hell, surprising Barbara and Lotten very much. Kiryu and Yusei then later begin their duel against Lotten. Although the two almost defeat him, Barbara halts the duel and declares that Lotten had been decided as the winner since the beginning. She threatens the lives of Nico and West, surprising Kiryu and Yusei very much of the outcome. Lotten almost shoots the both of them with his gun, but a card is seen taking the gun out of his hand - Black Feather Hurricane Gale. Kiryu immediately recongizes the card as Crow's and Jack also later appears, pushing Barbara away from the children. Kiryu then become excited as Team Satisfaction has finally be reunited once again. In the end, Kiryu defeats Lotten in the duel. Security finds him and arrests him, along with Barbara. Kiryu then tells Yusei, Crow, and Jack that he has decided to stay in Crash Town, which has been renamed to Satisfaction Town under Kiryu's command. He tells them that he would like to accomplish his will of living in the town. Yusei, Crow, and Jack agree to this decision and then ride away from Satisfaction Town.".

Pilot of PTX-003C Alteisen (アルトアイゼン) Kyosuke is of hotblooded nature, a fierce close combatant, but stays quiet most of the time outside the battlefield, also making him an excellent tactician, whos foresight of enemy behavior never seems to fail. Famous for his unbelievable good luck to survive terrible accidents and dangerous combats likely unharmed, he also loves to gamble, always betting on the worst odds' side. He and Excellen form up a great combination in their PTs, also being a couple in private. Though Kyosuke constantly seems to ignore his girlfriend and her lovey-dovey sweet talk in public, he holds her dear more than anything else, so whoever might dare to harm her will be doomed to have summoned her darling's true rage. He still holds his former commander Zanger in high regards, despite his betrayal, as he respects his reasoning and both share a similar personality, mostly stoic but "do-or-die"-mentality in battle. With Zanger gone, Kyosuke becomes also a mentor to Bullet, whos impetuous behaving has to be tamed at times. Later on Kyousuke is promoted to the rank of 1st Lt. as he keeps the position of ATX-team's leader after Zengar's decision to not return to his former unit. As Alteisen suffers severe damage in the meantime, Kyousuke can be seen piloting its finally upgraded version PTX-003C-SP1 Alteisen Riese in "SRWOG: The Animation." His laid-back attitude to life may deem him a slacker in the eyes of many, but he's actually quite perceptive and he coddles Hachi more than Junko would like. Both him and Junko are studying to become artists (his art being Romantic and hers being Post-Modernistic).".

After immersing himself in the thoughts of the mystery girl that Christmas night, he ends up quiting the film club and his girlfriend suggests they break up, which he agrees to as well. Ijuuin takes his work seriously but he usually misses the deadline because of the little details he wants his manga to have. And whenever the deadline for his next manga is near, he becomes incredibly pessimistic and looses the inspiration. In such times Ijuuin is very hard to deal with since he becomes messy, somewhat rude and looses his temper easily. Misaki has often cheered him up, so that he could keep drawing the manga and keep up the good work. Ijuuin met Misaki at Marukawa when he was in one of his pre-deadline funks. Misaki gave him the motivation to continue by telling him how much his work meant to him. Later on, Misaki was selected in a lottery to meet him again for an autograph signing, Ijuuin realized it was Misaki who encouraged him 3 years ago. Unable to forget Misaki's kind and encouraging words, Ijuuin will fall for him and later confess his true feelings.".
