Kyuzo wields double blades that fit into one sheath on his back, and has skills matching, or exceeding, Kambei's. He ultimately becomes part of the team and helps to defend the village, as well as to refine his swordsmanship. However, he has another reason for joining the seven - he wishes to challenge Kambei to a duel to the death after the bandits are defeated. During the final battle with Ukyo, Kyuzo is accidentally shot by Katsushiro, who was trying to save Kambei from one of Ukyo's soldiers. The bullets passed straight through the guard and hit Kyuzo on the other side. Seconds before he died, Kambei promised to duel him again in the afterlife. (Source: Wikipedia)".

He has several quirks such as preferring to crouch rather than sit, eating only sweet foods like desserts and fruits, and holding items very delicately. He stayed in England for five years, and during that time he was the champion in tennis for the England Junior Cup. - la-andromeda-promethium-ii comment "Every 1000 years, a woman called a Millennial Queen is sent from the planet La-Metal to secretly rule over the Earth and lead an underground organization that secretly controls the entire planet. Promethium, known to Earthlings as Yukino Yayoi, is the current Millennial Queen. Some early movie promotional material identified her as Promethium II, and indicated that she was the daughter of the Queen Promethium of the Machine Empire of Galaxy Express 999 (another of Matsumoto's works). This idea (and the suffix, II) was later dropped, however, and Millenial Queen Promethium/Yayoi was considered to be the person who would eventually become the Machine Queen (see Maetel Legend). While shown with rounder eyes in the anime TV series, she is shown with almond-shaped eyes in both the manga and the anime film and looks just like Maetel from Galaxy Express 999. While Yayoi is Professor Amamori's private secretary in all three versions of the story, there are the following differences: In the anime TV and manga, Yayoi lives on the second floor of a ramen shop run by an older couple who have adopted her as their daughter. She has a tiger-striped cat. In the anime film, in addition to being Professor Amamori's private secretary, she also teaches at a school and lives in a high-class apartment. [Maetel Legend, Space Symphony Maetel, Galaxy Express 999] In the anime TV series called Maetel Legend, Space Symphony Maetel and Galaxy Express 999 (also in GE 999 movies), Promethium, mother of Maetel and Emeraldas is the main antagonist. Unlike in the Millennial Queen TV series, and the movie, La Andromeda's intentions are to convert all humanity into cyborgs, whether they like it or not. Ironically, she puts her daughters, Maetel and Emeraldas in a difficult position similar to how her mother, Millennial Queen from the Queen Millennia series (Mother of Yayoi, and Selen) did to her and Selen, where they must fight for their own beliefs and stop the Queen. Initially however, when Promethium had a human body, she was a motherly queen who loved her daughters, Maetel and Emeraldas. But as she desired for eternal life, without having to suffer from illness, aging, and starvation, she allowed herself to be converted into a cyborg, as shown in Maetel Legend. Soon after, she realizes that she is losing her human qualities, most importantly the quality of love. As a result, she regrets having a mechanical body despite its advantages. When she realizes that her mind is finally out of control, she asks Maetel to kill her as shown in Space Symphony Maetel. Although Maetel and Emeraldas supposedly killed Promethium in Space Symphony Maetel, Promethium's evil spirit still lives. In the Galaxy Express 999 TV series, Promethium finally gets killed by Maetel and Tetsuro, with the destruction of La Metal. [Queen Millennia Movie] Yayoi Yukino, Promethium II opposes Lalela and her plan to wipe out all mankind to gain etneral spring for La Metallians, unlike in the anime where she is pressured by her own mother, Promethium I to destroy mankind in order to keep La Metal's traditional cycle going. In the end, Promethium II dies after weakening Lalela by shooting her with a pistol. [Queen Millennia TV series] Promethium, also known as Yayoi Yukino is the princess of La Metal, and was to become the next Queen Millennia. However, she betrays La Metal and the current Millennial Queen for the sake of the earth and a young boy named Hajime. After joining forces with her older sister Selen, she manages to save the Earth from total annihilation. It is likely that she is the same Promethium appeared in the Maetel Legend, though Queen Millennia series and Maetel's series (Maetel Legend, Space Symphony Maetel, Galaxy Express 999) could possibly irrelevant.".

- la-mimay comment "La Mime is of the Alozaran race in the Algol system, a world which, like Tokarga, was conquered and milked dry by the Illumidas. She is first seen working as a secretary for Prime Minister Triter, the spineless puppet leader of the Illumidas-occupied earth (as seen in My Youth in Arcadia.) She warns Zoll of Tokarga, whom she has fallen in love with, that his planet is set to be destroyed (a job which they had offered to Harlock, and which he flatly refused,) and they form an alliance with Harlock, Emeraldas, and Tochiro, who has built the Arcadia in secret beneath the Illumidas Occupation Force HQ. After Harlock is banished from earth, La Mime remains with him as chief of communications. La Mime is deathly afraid of the sentient glowing disk the Arcadia encounters in its travels, believing it to be the "Golden Goddess" of Alozaran legend, whose appearance supposedly signals the ends of all things. When it becomes apparent that the way to the mythical planet Arcadia (which Harlock and company are seeking in the SSX series,) is guarded by the golden being, she only very reluctantly agrees that the ship should press on. La Mimme is not the same character as the Mime that appeared in Space Pirate and Galaxy Express, possessing no psychic abilities, and never said to be alcohol-dependent. A character chart in the My Youth in Arcadia Roman Album lists the two as blood relatives, but frankly, this is clearly bunk; the two are entirely different species, and never once meet. She is also not, as has been misreported, a cyborg, though a cyborg spy does impersonate La Mime in SSX episode nine. (Source: cornponeflicks.org/harlock/pirates.html)".

- laboon comment "Laboon is an extremely large whale (of comparable or greater size than the monsters in Calm Belt), native to West Blue, whom the Straw Hat Pirates encounter immediately after entering Grand Line. Fifty years earlier, Laboon had been left at the bottom of Reverse Mountain by a group of pirates who had befriended him. Since his species travels in pods, he had forged a powerful bond of friendship with these pirates, and he patiently waited for them at Grand Line's entrance. His caretaker is a doctor named Crocus, who normally mans the Lighthouse that introduces travelers into Grand Line. Crocus revealed to the Straw Hat Pirates that Laboon's friends effectively abandoned him by fleeing the Grand Line through the Calm Belt. (although this may not be true as Brook described his crew as being slaughtered in the Florian Triangle) The pirates were recently revealed to be the crew of Brook the skeleton, leaving him as Laboon's only crewmate left. The old doctor has cared for Laboon ever since his friends left him. Although Laboon knows the truth about his friends, he refuses to admit to himself that they are gone. Laboon has many scars on his head from slamming into Reverse Mountain, for he believes he can destroy the mountain and return to West Blue. Monkey D. Luffy, in an effort to give Laboon a renewed sense of hope, picks a fight with the whale by jamming the Going Merry's mast into his head. After the battle (which Luffy calls a draw), Luffy promises to Laboon that he will return to see him, under the guise of wanting a rematch. As a sign of this, Luffy paints the Strawhat Jolly Roger on Laboon's head, commenting that the insignia will wash away if Laboon hits Reverse Mountain further. The Straw hats depart, leaving behind two important friends. Recently, the only known survivor of the pirates that had abandoned him fifty years ago has been revealed to be Brook, an undead skeleton the Straw Hats met shortly before they arrived on Thriller Bark. He has currently reclaimed his shadow, so that he can exit the Florian Triangle, and return to Laboon. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- labrador comment "Birthday: January 8 Height: 170 cm Weight: 50 kg Blood type: B A sweet bishop with a passion for flowers and gardening. Works with Castor, Frau and Lance. He is one of the Seven Ghosts, Profe, and his power is that of a prophet. His predictions always come true. He has both healing and manipulating type Zaiphon. He uses his manipulating to control plants during combat and his healing to take care of injuries sustained whilst in battle. He is one of the two characters who possess two kinds of Zaiphon, the other being Capella. Labrador is very gentle and kind, and always speaks softly to everyone. He is very patient and almost impossible to anger. Possibly due to his precognitive visions, Labrador often appears dreary or not fully aware of the events happening around him, behaving in a sleepy or dazed manner. However, he still is a capable fighter and can be dangerous when he fights seriously. He is quite a pacifist, objecting to killing even his biggest enemy, even indirectly saving his enemies' lives on one occasion. However, he will not hesitate to kill or gravely injure his opponents under certain circumstances. He also appears to be quite courageous, as he does not get intimidated by even his strongest enemies; seen when he openly challenged Ayanami twice and sardonically told Hyuuga to cut off "whichever [of my limbs] you like". He is the oldest of the bishops and gets along well with all of them. Although the other bishops argue with each other a lot, they almost never raise their voices to Labrador and respect him, even giving him the affectionate nickname "Lab (Rabu)". His relationship with Castor is especially strong, as they spend a lot of time together and have both risked their lives to save one another. He is also the only person who acts friendly towards Lance, who calls him "Master Lab (Rabu-shishou)". His real name is Ilyusha Krat. He was born to the 4th District's God House, a family said to possess accurate abilities for prophecy and a knack for cultivating medicinal plants. Ilyusha had two friends, Lem and Lirin. When Lirin contracted a fatal disease, Lem's desperation made him cry to Ilyusha for the Flower of Eden, a fabled seed that could only blossom by the Krats and that could remove one's suffering. But the Flower of Eden was a cursed plant that entangled and sealed Ilyusha's body, leaving him as a practically dead shell of his former self. The Imperial Army appeared on the scene to exterminate the Flower of Eden because it was a threat, and when they interrogated Lem if he knew anything, Lem denied any relation to Ilyusha. Ilyusha's uncle became crazed and sold incenses cultivated from the seeds of Ilyusha's blossomed flowers of Eden and the flesh of humans hunted by Lem's Wars. After his death, Ilyusha reincarnated as the Ghost, Profe, and began working in the Barsburg Church as Bishop Labrador.".

When Lachesis was still a child, before undergoing her final programming cycle during her maturation, she revealed to Dr. Ballanche that she wished to be with Ladios Sop. Ballanche told her it was possible but for it to be he must re-make her. Lachesis agreed and thus she was made specifically for Amaterasu. After this transformation, Lachesis became unique among both humans and fatimas. Special DNA provided by the LED dragon was grafted into hers and the result is her body is able to develop into the form it most needs to be. Her current form is that of an adolescent female, but her final form will be that of a goddess of destiny. Lachesis is not equipped with the mind control restriction required by law and thus is highly illegal. Lachesis is a very playful individual, an indication that she is not fully mature, and her favorite "playmate" is the FEMC jester, Spector. Together they are the terror of Mirage Palace, playing pranks on any and all who get in their way. As Amaterasu’s partner, she has full command of the Knight of Gold. Her capabilities as a fatima are unknown but her ability must be at least equal to that of Atropos and, more likely, closer to that of Clotho. On the occasion of Ballanche’s death, Amaterasu-no-Mikoto III, former Queen of Greece, named Lachesis as a princess of the Amaterasu family, dubbing her Gibih Lachesis Fanatic B Amaterasu Guiress. Lachesis is considered 2nd in line to the throne of the AKD in the event that something happens to the emperor. All of the Mirage Knights protect Lachesis as if she were their queen and a command from her is treated as if it were from the emperor’s own lips. (Source: GEARS Online)".

Near the beginning of the series she was engaged to Athrun Zala through an arranged marriage. Though (reporting to the drama CD) the two were in love when they first met, their feelings diminished as time went on and the engagement became more political then ever before. The pink-haired princess enters the series when she is traveling in a civilian vessel for a memorial ceremony on Junius Seven. The ship is mistaken for a ZAFT military aircraft, and is attacked by the Earth Alliance. Lacus is escorted to a lifepod, and escapes safely. Shortly thereafter, Lacus' escape pod is discovered by Kira in the Strike. He brings the pod back to the Archangel. The doors to the life pod open and out hops a small, pink, robotic ball. Following after it is Lacus Clyne herself in a bit of dismay that she was saved by Earth forces. Despite being enemies, the girl is cheery and kind to everyone on the ship as they keep her hostage. ZAFT forces discover the Archangel, and a battle breaks out. Before the Earth Alliance can suffer more loss, Natarle Badgiruel opens a channel to the enemy. It is then revealed to ZAFT that Lacus Clyne, the famous idol, is onboard the Archangel. Kira is distraught and, due to Flay's abusive words, comes direly close to an emotional breakdown; however, Lacus attempts to comfort him. The couple find that they both know Athrun Zala on a personal level, and even that Athrun made Lacus' Haro/Pink-chan (her pink, robotic ball) and Kira's Torii (his flying bird robot). Kira decides to return Lacus to where she belongs with Athrun. Even before meeting Kira, Lacus had an indirect influence on the war. She spread her opinion throughout PLANT by singing a song of peace, her lyrics filled with the hope of harmony between the nations. After encountering the Archangel, she expresses a larger need to achieve peace by aiding Kira many more times, causing Athrun to question his purpose for taking part in the war, and much more. In time, she ends up falling in love with Kira (which is seen much more clearly in Gundam Seed Destiny), and Athrun & her engagement is ended without quarrel. ".

- lady-lillian comment "Lillian is a Queen Candidate for Jewel Land. She seems to be the top candidate. It seems that she has a massive crush on Cayenne, and it was said that they were soul mates destined to be apart. It was later revealed that she is actually related to Cayenne. She is kind of fond of Miura and appears to have a crush on him. Lillian has long, purplish-black hair. She has front bangs and she wears a yellow ribbon that contains a diamond shaped gem in the middle. Casually, she is seen wearing a white blouse underneath a black dress. On her collar, there is a purple butterfly that also has yellow/gold details. The black dress looks like a half-button up tank top, but then it spreads out, and it somewhat resembles a tutu. Under the tutu, there is a short black skirt. She wears black sandal heels with the same butterfly as the one on her collar on them. In her Lady Form, her hair style is the same, and she wears a purple and white dress with yellow accents. Refined and elegant, Lillian is often quiet around others. However, unlike Charon, Lillian is more mysterious and less shy. Lillian is also shown to be jealous of Momona and Cayenne's relationship, resulting her to be a little too blunt. She covers herself up at the beginning of the series, but later warms up to Momona and the girls. In a plot twist, Lillian is revealed to have been originally a doll that Lady Diana had owned, but forgot to take it when she had left Jewel Palace. This lead Luea into accepting a deal with Joker, in which if she can do his bidding then she can be happy. Luea used her magic to bring the doll to life and call her "Lillian," and also inserting fake memories into Cayenne so she can be his brother. She was also illegally been registered in the Jewel Palace Database by Luea, in hopes that she can fulfill Joker's plans. (Source: Jewelpet Wikia)".

Under his orders, she assassinated Vice Foreign Minister Darlian for knowing the truth about OZ, and ordered the assassination of his daughter Relena when she witnessed the murder. Her methods are brutal and ruthless, but effective; during a battle with the Gundams, she forced their surrender by threatening to destroy a colony with the Alliance's missile satellites. Afterward, Treize encouraged her to be more graceful. This apparently created a personality conflict, developing a new personality for her gentle, beatific attitude. As Treize began to split with Romefeller, Lady Une was sent to free Duo, Wufei and the Gundam engineers from the Lunar Base but was shot by Chief Tsubarov. While recovering from her wound, Une had time to resolve her personal conflict. Shortly after the end of the war, Une was picked to become the leader of the new Earth government's peace watch group, Preventer. Her timely intervention saved the lives of both Relena and Mariemaia, revealing that Dekim's actions were not in line with Treize's philosophy. - laertes-montague comment "Laertes Montague is the ruthless, Machiavellian Duke of Neo Verona. During the premise of the show, he orders the massacre of the House of Capulet and seized control of Neo Verona, spreading lies about the corruption of the Capulets to justify himself without persecution. As the ruler of Neo Verona, he believes it is the right of the House of Montague to exploit and oppress the common people, since the noblemen are superior to them. He is Romeo's father but acts coldly towards his son, only using him as a pawn for political gain. He also seems to be among the few who know the secrets of the Escalus Tree, along with its caretaker Ophelia and a mysterious old man whom Romeo and Juliet found in the country. Tybalt divulges the known origins of his father privately to Juliet. Montague was originally born into poverty. His mother was a prostitute and therefore abandoned by his father. On her deathbed, she confesses to her young son that his father was a Capulet and expressed wishes for him to live in nobility. Her death greatly sparks his unrelenting and ferocious grudge against the Capulet name and his ambitions for becoming Duke. Sometime afterwards, young Laertes caught the eye of the Montague family whom at the time was headed by a pederast lord, and he was adopted into the clan. In his older adolescence, he poisoned his benefactor's food and became head of the family. He then met Tybalt's mother (a Capulet woman who he later heard died during the massacre) at a ball and used her to learn more of the Capulets, specifically about the Great Tree Escalus. After impregnating Tybalt's mother, he then left her and married Portia. When he learned of Romeo's love for Juliet, Montague attested that his son was tricked to turning against him. His son's continuous declarations for his feelings for Juliet angers him and he sent Romeo to the mines as punishment. With Mercutio's adoption, it's assumed that Montague has decided to disown his son, made evident with the "accidental death" of Titus. In the final moments of his reign, he is cornered by Tybalt, Romeo, and Juliet's forces in his throne room. No longer surrounded by anyone loyal to him, he curses Escalus for Capulet's bane. After he listens to Juliet's offer to peacefully exile himself and forsake his status from Neo Verona, he relents, apparently ready to agree. Before he could voice his opinions deeper, Mercutio stabs his back and he collapses. As he lies in Juliet and Romeo's arms, he wonders why no one loved him yet also says that he wanted to be the most feared in the world. He dies soon after. (Source: Wikipedia)".
