- ren-maaka description "Age: 21 Birthday: November 1 Ren Maaka is the oldest of the Maaka children, has no qualms about sucking blood, and believes vampires to be superior to humans. However, he prefers female victims, seducing female victims and often spending days in their company before he's done with them, and refuses to suck on male blood. Ren sees the act of biting as a metaphor for sexual intercourse, and often commits both acts simultaneously. Ren often appears annoyed at Karin for her seeming lack of vampiric abilities and her friendliness towards humans. While he will listen to his father Henry, Anju is often the one who will calm him when he's annoyed or subtly prod him into acting in certain ways. He greatly fears Elda, whose overly affectionate manner when he was a child causes him to flee at the mere sight or mention of her.".
- ren-mihashi description "# Class: Year 1 Class 9 # Position: Pitcher # D.O.B: May 17 # Blood type: AB # Height:165cm # Weight: 53kg later in series 50kg # Family: Parents Mihashi, the main character of the series, is a nervous boy with no self confidence. He is shown to have always had this personality, (which seems to come in part from his father, who displays some of the same mannerisms) however, it became much more pronounced in middle school, where he was bullied by his teammates on the baseball team after gaining a place on the team apparently through favouritism, as his grandfather owned the school. The other members of the team were resentful of this and felt that their reserve pitcher, Kanou, was far more talented than Mihashi. However, Mihashi refused to give up the mound and pitched in every one of their games, even when his teammates stopped trying and the catcher wouldn't give him signs to throw. Eventually, Mihashi decided to change schools for high school and succeeded in gaining a place in Nishiura. Although he felt guilty for ruining his junior high teams enjoyment of the game, and thus promised himself he wouldn't play baseball in high school, Mihashi let slip that he was a pitcher, and is thus dragged into the baseball club, who had no other pitcher. Although Mihashi is convinced that he has no talent, he has been practicing hard at pitching since elementary school, and his new teammates, in particular the talented catcher, Abe, are astounded at his highly accurate aim. When pitching, he divides his target into nine sections, which is said to be above the level of a professional pitcher, who would divide it into four. Mihashi also has four breaking balls, including unusual fastball which often confuses opposing batters. His pitches are said to be quite slow, although with training from Momoe his speed increases later on in the series. Mihashi's relationship with Abe as a battery is often strained, with Abe quick to lose his temper and Mihashi fearful of angering him, however, Mihashi greatly respects Abe and is eternally grateful to him for wanting to be his catcher, noting that if it weren't for Abe's skill at reading the opposing team and calling for the right pitches, Mihashi could never make anyone strike out. Abe, in turn, appreciates how hard Mihashi works on his control and his dedication to pitching for the entire game. With his help, and the encouragement of his new teammates, Mihashi's confidence in his pitching as grown slightly, though he still firmly believes it would be nothing without Abe, to the point that Abe promises not to get sick or injured for their three years of high school, in order to be able to catch all of Mihashi's pitches. Mihashi gets on well with the rest of his team mates, particularly Tajima, who always seems to understand him even when Mihashi can only stutter a few words. He was childhood friends with Hamada, who he calls 'Hama-chan', and they lived in the same apartment building until Mihashi moved away. He is also close to his cousin Ruri, having lived with her family during middle school, though he dislikes it when she calls him 'Renren', and is also friends with Ruri's neighbour, Kanou, who was his rival for the position of pitcher in middle school. Although he became more formal with Kanou in school, likely out of guilt for not giving up the mound to him, Kanou has always thought that Mihashi was a better pitcher than him. They are now on good terms again, and Mihashi calls Kanou by his childhood nickname, 'Shuu-chan'. Despite his low self-confidence, Mihashi is very stubborn, refusing to give up the mound even when so exhausted that he starts losing control of his pitches, and becoming upset at the idea of the team needing a reserve pitcher. He is quite guillable, loves to eat, and has a fear of dogs. Mihashi's grades are very poor, and he says he had to work hard in order to get into Nishiura. He loves pitching so much that his mother mentions he's always holding a ball, even in his sleep.".

- ren-suzugamori description "Ren is the national Vanguard champion and the leader of the team Foo Fighter. Later it is revealed that he was a friend of Kai, who got mad due to a power he had called Psyqualia. That power made Ren claim that the cards of his deck were talking to him and telling him how to win every fight. Psyqualia made Ren lose himself and turn him into a selfish guy, who created the Team Foo Fighter, whose members are the best Vanguard players of the country. Kai leaves Ren when he notices Ren is taking things too far, and he goes back to his childhood town in order to run from Ren. It is also known that Ren became the best national player because he used the power Psyqualia to win. Because he has been using Psyqualia for a few years, it isn't under control and it is extremely powerful. Ren uses a Shadow Paladin Deck which is the opposite of Sendou Aichi's Royal Paladin Deck. Instead of relying on allies to gain strength like the Royal Paladins, the Shadow Paladin Deck relies on sacrificing allies to gain strength. It also seems to boost the power of the Psyqualia user. The Shadow Paladin's Also Get Sealed Away in Season 2 and Ren and Aichi switch to using Gold Paladin's and once again he has the exact opposite of Aichi's Deck. Ren's Gold Paladin's increase field number in units, while Aichi's increase ATK. In Season 3 Ren uses the Shadow Paladin clan along with Blaster Dark Revenger. When he regains the Shadow Paladins, he begins using the Revenger sub-clan. In Season 4, Ren still uses a Revenger deck, adding now his new Legion units. Similar to Raging Form Dragon, his new ace unit Revenger, Phantom Blaster "Abyss" restands with the cost of retiring three units Ren's strongest cards are: Blaster Dark, Phantom Blaster Dragon, Phantom Blaster Overlord, Spectral Duke Dragon, Revenger, Raging Form Dragon Revenger, Dragruler Phantom, and Revenger, Phantom Blaster "Abyss".".

- ren-tao description "Ren is a shaman from China who came to Japan to fight Yoh Asakura and to take part in the Shaman Fight in Tokyo. In the American dub this is never mentioned. Ren starts off as a 13-year-old in the manga and the original Japanese anime, while in the English anime he first appears as a 15-year-old. He is serious, logical, and emotionally aloof. He has become like this because of how he was raised. Because of his father, Ren had adapted a deep hatred towards humanity and a strong yearning to eliminate them all. He also believed that his spirit companion, Bason, was only meant to be used as a tool and to treat him as a friend would only result in the spirit taking advantage over him. Ren's anger and hatred came from his father (or uncle in the English anime), Tao Yúan (Tao En). Forced to train and study at a very young age, Ren had his childhood stolen from him. He hated Tao En for all of his suffering. As he gains the friendship of Yoh and the others, he realizes that everything he once believed about the world was not true. He learned to trust others and that humans weren't as awful as he thought they were because Yoh and the others showed him that some people truly are kind. A new will to change himself took over. He wanted to let go of his hatred so he could be able to move on with his life, so he returned to China to defeat his father. His first attempt failed, but he refused to give in to his father, even as he remained chained in the dungeon of his home. Thanks to Bason, Yoh and the others came to help him. He thanked them for rescuing him but was persistent in saying that he didn't want any help from them. He said it was his problem alone. But eventually all of them defeated Tao Yúan together; allowing Ren to finally move on. Ren tries hard to maintain a tough and confident exterior and is aloof, but deep down would risk his life for his allies. Ren is a particularly impatient person with a very short temper, and isn't afraid to hurt the source of the anger. Ren is an egotistical person and usually doesn't care that people think that he's overly proud. He even named his own team, "Team the Ren," much to the annoyance of his teammate, Horohoro. His overflowing self-confidence annoys some of the other characters. In addition, Ren is also very intuitive, quick-witted, and sometimes stubborn. He is also very defiant. He rarely listens to what anyone says or takes their instructions. Before and during the process in which he befriended Yoh, he even was bold enough to disobey his father on various occasions. It is mentioned that Ren is skilled in more than one area of combat. Not only is he a powerful shaman capable of doing things most shamans his age would not be able to, but in addition, he also seems to be skilled in martial arts and sword fighting, in addition to also learning many of Mikihisa Asakura's techniques simply by experiencing them firsthand. It is also lightly suggested in the manga that Ren can also play the erhu. As the series progresses, Ren begins to trust others more. Out of all his friends, his bonds with Yoh and Horohoro seem to be the strongest. Ren often fights with Horohoro and the two do not seem to get along at all. However, after Ren sacrifices himself to save him, it becomes apparent that they really do care for one another. As Faust worked to try to save Ren's life after the incident, Horohoro did his best to protect the unconscious Ren. Ren's name in Chinese means "benevolent," "tough," and "edge of a knife," all of which are reflected in his character. His actual Chinese name, Lián, means "lotus". In the English dub, he is given a British accent. He also has an obsession with milk and the number 3. His Furyoku is 100,001 (as seen in chapter 276) In Shaman King Character Book, there was an interview asking what kind of girl he likes and he said he would only like a girl if she's smaller than him and not annoying. This must be the reason why he married Iron Maiden Jeanne and had a son named Men Tao. (Source: Wikipedia)".

At the age of twenty, Ren has lived a large portion of his life in America. After Ren's encounter with Reino (from Vie Ghoul), it is revealed that "Tsuruga Ren" is only a stage name with his real name being Kuon Hizuri. Ren harbors what he thinks is an unrequited love for Kyouko. Because of his past as Kuon, he does not believe he has the right to be happy. He also had a long period of denial for his feelings because of the age difference. Kuon met Kyouko when they were young at a creek behind the ryoukan that the Fuwas owned. Kyouko is not yet aware that Tsuruga Ren, Kuon Hizuri, and her "fairy-prince Corn" are the same person. When Kuon tried to begin his acting career in America, he was unable to escape from the shadow of his father, Hizuri Kuu or Shuhei Hozu. Often his performance would be inadequate and he would often be fired. Takarada Lory, a family friend, offers Ren an opportunity to leave his identity behind to become Tsuruga Ren. In Ren’s past he was constantly picked on or bullied by Americans for being mixed with Japanese and Russian and his friend Rick helped him in these instances, but one day when he was being beat up he turned into evil Kuon when he had enough and decided to use martial arts to hurt people. Rick came to help him, but instead told him to catch himself while one of the bullies that he beat up ran away and Rick’s girlfriend was pushed into the road while a car was speeding, so Rick ran to save her but the car couldn't stop so Rick was ran over and killed. Tina blamed the instance on Kuon by calling him a “MURDERER” so Ren made a promise to never revert back to those ways and to never have happiness again. He also uses his watch which stopped at an odd time of 2:13 and calls it handcuffs in order to remind him of what occurred in the past and to remember the promise he made.".

- rena-ryuuguu description "Age: 15-16 Birthdate: July 28, 1967 Height: 161 cm (5'3'') Hobbies: collecting cute things, obsessing over cute things, treasure hunting Famous quote: "Friends. Those companions you speak of are only friends during those fun, yet unimportant times. When painful times come, they won't be your ally." Rena is the main female protagonist of the question arcs and a girl who returned from Ibaraki to Hinamizawa one year ago, she is in the same grade level as Keiichi. She is very kind and takes care of Keiichi whenever possible, but is also naïve and is usually subject to light teasing by Keiichi, it is hinted later in the series that she loves him. She is distinguished by her obsession with things she perceives as adorable calling them kÄii (ã‹ãã„ã„, a slurred form of kawaii (ã‹ã‚ã„ã„), meaning "cute"), which are usually moekko characters or items she finds while scouring the local dump. Generally, these things are not considered cute by others. She also utters the phrase haÅ« (ã¯ã…) when excited or flustered, and has a habit of repeating phrases at the ends of her sentences, most famously kana? kana? (ã‹ãª? ã‹ãª??, lit. "I wonder, I wonder?"). Every now and then, she goes treasure hunting in the town's trash heap, searching for 'cute' things to collect, and whenever she sees something that grabs her attention, she proclaims, "I wanna take it home!" (ãŠæŒã¡å¸°ã‚Š, OmochikaerÄ«?) and proceeds to try and do so, becoming virtually unstoppable during these intervals. When in "Take it Home" mode, she comically becomes stronger and faster. Despite this disarming trait, Rena is shown to be amazingly observant and perceptive about the things around her (in Watanagashi-hen, she was able to deduce that both Rika and Satoko went to the Sonozaki house by looking through the contents of their fridge and a flier). According to Mion, while Rena might seem cute herself, people should be careful not to anger her as she becomes quite scary when angered. Rena's last name is in double "u." So the correct name for Rena is Rena Ryuuguu, not Rena Ryuugu. When she needs a weapon, she uses a large cleaver that she found at the dump (in the anime) or a toolshed (in the manga and game). Rena's real name is Reina, a name she used normally before she moved from Hinamizawa to Ibaraki with her parents one year prior to the events of the story. There she discovered her mother having an affair, causing Reina to smash all the windows in her new school and assault three male students with a metal bat under the influence of the Hinamizawa syndrome. Believing herself to be cursed by Oyashiro for leaving Hinamizawa, Reina returned to the village with her father shortly after the incident and abandoned her real given name to "Rena" out of shame of her parents' subsequent divorce, holding herself responsible and hoping to begin life anew. So as not to alarm Keiichi, Rena claims to be a relative newcomer to Hinamizawa herself. Because of the incident, Rena is sensitive about the topic of Oyashiro, believing strongly in the existence of the deity and the curse, and becoming angry and unstable whenever anyone questions it. Rena is especially sensitive about the topic of Oyashiro; in Tsumihoroboshi-hen, her delusions about the god's true nature go so far as to make her take the school hostage, trying to unreasonably force a police investigation into the matter.".
- rena-sendo description "Rena was first seen in the Divine Design arc as one of Lucifer's chosen children. As Ramiel, her power was to trap human souls in dolls. She was defeated by Himiko and subsequently became Natsumi's colleague at the Honky Tonk. Previously depressed due to the loss of her father and her sexual abuses under her teacher, Rena perks up under the advice of Paul and tries to be a good helper at the cafe, though her coffee-making skills, among others, still leave much to be desired. However, since Paul's departure for Infinity Fortress, both she and Natsumi had proved themselves to be capable of handling the sudden surge in business at the cafe. Like Natsumi, all references to Rena were removed in the drama CDs, except for her involvement during the Divine Design arc (she was referred to as "Ramiel" here).".

- renais-cardiff-shishioh description "Raiga Shishioh's daughter by Freres Kerdif. She was abducted by the criminal organization BioNet in 2002 shortly following their murder of her mother (a BioNet agent herself gone rogue) and turned into a cyborg. Over the course of two years, she was trained as a killing machine, and ordered to swear loyalty to her captors; she chose to defy them instead, attacking them with the weapons they had equipped her with. For this outrage, she was chained up in a BioNet facility to die in 2004, where she was discovered in time and rescued by the French intelligence agency (and GGG partner organization) Chasseur. Dr. Raiga—who was visiting France at the time—volunteered to help save Renais's life, managing to do so with the addition of a portable GS-Generator to her cybernetics. Renais would eventually join Chasseur in an ongoing effort to destroy the organization that modified her, showing no mercy against its members. Far less of her body was altered than Cyborg Guy's. Her modifications, however, have a problem with generating extreme heat—a flaw in BioNet's design that even Raiga wasn't able to properly remedy. As a result of this, Renais must always wear a cooling coat over her body or risk overheating. Any normal human being that touches her without proper protection risks suffering severe burns. However, Soldato J is perfectly able to touch her without injury, thanks to the fact that the Red Planet was a world aflame. For this reason, as well as the mutual respect they gained from their fights with their counterparts Pillnus and Pia Decem, Renais and J began to develop a relationship at the very end of FINAL, where she piloted King J-Der in conjunction with J. The results of this incident may have been the reason for the usage of Ikumi Kaidou as one of the Head Divers of the Super Neuromechanoid GaoGaiGo. Like Cyborg Guy, she is able to enter an Equip form, and access Hyper Mode in certain conditions. In both situations, her cooling coat expands and stiffens into lateral "vanes" to handle the additional heat exchange required. The spelling of her name is not always consistent; her first name in various sources has been rendered as "Lune", "Rune", "Renat" and "Renée;" her mother's maiden name is frequently rendered as "Cardiff" and occasionally as "Cirdef." This Wiki uses the most-commonly-used spelling, which is consistently used in GaoGaiGar FINAL material and the second half of the novel "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar: Queen of Leo ." ".
