- repuri description "A small wind imp with the ability to bring good luck/influence fate. He was attracted by Guuko's perpetual good fortune, who gladly adopted him. - rera description "Rera (レラ, Rera), whose name means "wind" in Ainu, is a character in the Samurai Shodown series. She is based on the alternate palette swap of Nakoruru (noted for her evil grin during her victory images since Samurai Shodown). The developers admit basing her mannerism on Nakoruru's "Rasetsu/Bust" form, a different shade of the girl that appears to predominately have her own persona in Samurai Shodown 64-2, and whose P2 palette (violet, orange-trimmed) served as base for Rera's costume (violet with peach colored trim) costume. Seiuchi adds that her stoic yet forceful nature in the Nakoruru ADV game was inspired by Basara and Kagaribi's tragic story. The "Rasetsu/Bust" form of Nakoruru often feels unashamed in her victories and wasn't afraid to tempt others to do "the easiest thing", such as abandoning the conflict or pitting good comrades against one another. In the first OVA for the series, people aside from Nakoruru are able to see and talk to her, featured as a separate unexplained being resembling Nakoruru. Like a trickster in plays, she disappears and enters as she pleases, usually to "play" with another person that Nakoruru holds dear. She even threatened to kill her other half if her way didn't succeed. It is said that Nakoruru suppressed this side of herself as it saw killing as a necessity to protect nature. Rera's first unique appearance was in Nakoruru: Ano Hito kara no Okurimono as a mysterious specter. Here, she is more blunt to her demands to slay others, sometimes insulting her more "gullible" half to do her duty. Though it was a time of peace during this game, Nakoruru could already sense disasters that would soon occur. If she chose to try and ignore these premonitions, Rera would appear to her in a dream-like state to insist that actions be made. Her name isn't made clear to the players until later in the game. Unlike previous entries of the series it's unknown if other people can sense her, but it's mostly implied that only priestesses can see her. Her act of slaying a wild bear in this game is reenacted in her scenario in Samurai Shodown V. When Samurai Shodown V takes place, her frustration with the frightened girl had reached its peak; Nakoruru would not search for her father, the missing Rimururu, or even protect herself from danger. She takes over Nakoruru's body and embarks on her journey. It's unclear which persona Nakoruru left with in the official story, but it's insinuated that Rera did the fighting for her other half in this game. After Gaoh's defeat, she merges with her host, realizing that fighting doesn't solve everything and peaceful solutions can be made. Nakoruru's stronger will in her adulthood kept Rera mostly in check from then on. Personality: Rera is the aggressive and haughty ego of Nakoruru. She will not hesitate to kill those in her way and believes that the results, not methods, are more important in the end. (source: Kyosei snk wikia)".

- retsu-unohana description "Unohana is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman and is the captain of the 4th Division. She uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates, and rarely shows panic or distress. Presumably the longest serving captain after Kyouraku and Ukitake, Unohana has a presence that tends make everyone around her feel at ease. - revy description "Revy (レヴィ), sometimes referred by her full name Rebecca (レヴェッカ), is the female protagonist of the series. She does most of the fighting for the Lagoon Company. Very little is revealed about her past, although portions can be pieced together through the series. Revy is a Chinese-American born and raised in Chinatown, Manhattan, near Mott Street, spending most of her youth as a thief and murderer. Flashbacks throughout the series reveal that Revy may have honed her skills with firearms by shooting at cans, and that her first murder may have involved shooting an unknown man while using a pillow. It is unknown whether the pillow was used to suppress the noise or to help avoid looking at her first victim. The man who was shot was Revy's father, because she was fed up with her father. Revy is very competitive, easily bored, and extremely ill-tempered. Unlike Rock, she is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. In contrast to this, she's revealed to be highly ticklish. Revy is a merciless and sadistic killer, without a conscience, who will kill anyone at the slightest provocation, even unarmed civilians (as seen in episode 6). Dutch once made reference to University of Texas shooter Charles Whitman in describing Revy after she slaughtered the crew of the Neo-Nazis' boat after a previous conversation with Rock brought up some unpleasant memories, resulting in an internal fit of rage - she even threatened Rock with death if he ever questions or tampers with her way of life. Of all the characters in the series, Revy uses the most foul language. She takes maniacal glee in killing anyone and everyone. She is also a heavy smoker and drinker. She has a changing but volatile attitude towards Rock; though she respects him later in the series, she is mostly hostile towards him. She shot Rock at point blank range, but he moved her gun at the last second, during a confrontation in episode 7, and in episode 1 emptied most of a magazine in his direction while arguing with Dutch about their hostage. However, she does have a tendency to save Rock from critical situations, and later on she admits to considering Rock as family to Balalaika. It is possible that she has an attraction to Rock, based on her reactions to Eda's teasing, which appear to be jealousy. According to CIA agents on Basilan Island, towards the end of episode 12, Revy is still notorious in the NYPD, particularly at the 27th Precinct. Since the 27th Precinct does not exist in real-life New York City, this throwaway reference may - or may not - indicate an odd connection to Dick Wolf's Law and Order franchise. This is further suggested in a later episode, when Revy specifically mentions the series. Revy is one of the deadliest fighters in the series, whose skill with firearms and ability to dodge bullets is almost superhuman and unparallelel. There are only a few other characters, such as Roberta and Ginji, that can hold their ground against her in combat. Her weapons of choice are a pair of modified Beretta 92FS's; which are made out of stainless steel and had their barrels extended from 4.9" to 5.9" each (the 5.9" is the combat MOD barrel) and also adapted for silencers. They are engraved with "9mm Sword Cutlass" on both sides, as well as the Jolly Roger of the infamous pirate Calico Jack (which is also inlaid into the ivory grips), and a manufacture inscription in Thai. Due to her ambidextrous marksmanship skills, she is nicknamed "Two Hand" by the denizens of Roanapur. However, Revy has been seen using a variety of other firearms. Constantly living on the edge of life, Revy has developed a rather bleak, almost nihilistic outlook on life, relying only on her own power, skills, and money. She does not believe in God or emotions. However, she seems to respect and trust her companions. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- rex-godwin description "Godwin is the chief of public maintenance for Neo Domino City and the leader of Yliaster, a group that started with the ancient Andes people and today governs all things controlling society. He claims to want to summon the Crimson Dragon to bring peace to the world, though some express suspicion of his goals. For this, he takes Jack in as his protegé and uses the Fortune Cup to find the Signers. Godwin is the technical definition of the anti-hero: one who carries out a just cause through any means necessary. He molded Neo Domino City into its current hierarchal society, in which Satellite residents are considered as scum. He is not above sacrificing them if necessary. He also makes sure to maintain total control of the Fortune Cup, such as when he arranges a consolation duel to reveal Luka as a Signer after discovering that Lua was substituting for her in the tournament. All this, though, is to awaken the powers of the Signers to prepare them for their upcoming fate. After the Fortune Cup, Rex reveals the truth to Yusei that everything up until then was to prepare the Signers for the coming battle against the Dark Signers. He tells the legend of how the People of the Stars borrowed the power of the Crimson Dragon's five servants in order to seal the Nazca Gods, and since then the Signers and Dark Signers have been waging war constantly. Rex also discloses that the reason the Nazca Gods awoke in present day was because of a Momentum experiment 17 years prior, named Zero Reverse, where a cataclysm of negative energy caused the split between Neo Domino City and Satellite. Rex has a mechanical left arm, revealed during the Fortune Cup when he caught Bommer's spike aiming to kill him. This fact plus a scene where Rex possesses a severed left arm with a dragon birthmark in a preservation tank hints at the possibility of Rex being the 5th Signer, though whether the arm really is his or not is unknown. It is revealed in Carly's investigation of Arcadia Movement that Rex was actually born in Satellite.".

- rex-racer description "Racer X is a heroic, mysterious, flamboyant, selfless, sympathetic and often brooding soldier of fortune. His secret identity is Rex Racer, the eldest son of Mom and Pops Racer and the older brother of Speed and Spritle. Years before the start of the series, Rex had a falling out with Pops after wrecking the Mach One (the first car Pops ever built) at the end of his first race as a professional driver (seen in flashbacks throughout the series). Racer X drives the number 9 car, the Shooting Star. Throughout the course of Speed Racer, Racer X's identity is constantly revealed to the audience in almost every episode he appears in, while Speed is unaware of it. Speed starts to suspect that Racer X might, in fact, be his estranged older brother in the "Challenge of the Masked Racer" saga (episodes 3 and 4) and finds out that he is near the end of the series in "The Trick Race." It was acknowledged by both Pops and Speed over the years that Racer X was the superior driver of the two, and the greatest driver that they had ever seen, but Speed always vowed to defeat Racer X as the two vigorously competed. Speed was often suspicious of Racer X's identity and motives because Racer X would repeatedly, and inexplicably, sacrifice winning races to protect Speed from drivers and others who tried to harm him. The assistance from Racer X nearly always led to Speed winning races, while Racer X came in second place. Racer X always left the scene unnoticed, receding into his secret life. It was not until the episode "Challenge of the Masked Racer Part 2" that fans of the show finally got to see the face of Racer X. His face was shown a second time near the end of the series in "The Trick Race." In that episode, Speed finally gets a chance to ask Racer X if he is his older brother—only to be interrupted by a punch in the stomach. As Speed lies unconscious, Captain Terror, of the Car Acrobatic Team, soon recognizes the resemblance of Rex under the mask of Racer X. Racer X confesses that he is truly Rex. He then vows to quit automobile racing and becomes a full-time international secret agent instead. As he walks away, he takes off his mask and he tells the unconscious Speed that he will look after him wherever he might go. When Speed wakes up, he finds Racer X's mask on the ground beside him. He is finally convinced that Racer X is in fact his older brother. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- rhett-butler description "Rhett Butler was a very fat blue cat who appeared in episode 031. In the beginning of the episode, Luna was being chased by dozens of angry alley cats. Rhett Butler suddenly appeared on top of a building nearby, and threw a fish skeleton between Luna and the cats, which stuck into the ground like Tuxedo Kamen's roses. The alley cats saw him and backed off. Rhett Butler then jumped off the building and went to a young girl who was calling him, leaping into her arms. Luna commented that he certainly didn't look like a Rhett Butler! Later on, the senshi were searching for the final Nijizuishou when they found the home of An Ohara, the little girl who was Rhett Butler's owner. When the girl opened the door to speak to the senshi, Rhett Butler wriggled free from her arms and ran away in an attempt to rescue Luna from the alley cats once again. When An went to search for him, Zoisite attacked her in a dark alley because he believed that she was the Nijizuishou carrier. He and the senshi soon realized that it was not her, but her cat who had the final crystal. After Rhett Butler rescued Luna for the second time, they accidentally fell through a manhole and into the sewer as he was carrying her away. They were unable to find a way out, an unfortunately, they soon ran into Zoisite... who was being chased by an angry horde of thousands of sewer rats! They found a vent through which they escaped the sewer, only to be confronted by Zoisite once again. This time, despite being attacked by Sailor Mars, Zoisite was able to remove the Nijizuishou from Rhett Butler and cause him to transform into the youma Bakene. He was a very gentle youma who never attacked the senshi, and actually rescued Luna when she was falling. Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Moon soon arrived on the scene, and Sailor Moon was able to heal Bakene with Moon Healing Escalation, causing him to revert back to being Rhett Butler. Later, Rhett Butler was reunited with An Ohara. Although Luna denied having feelings for him, she still daydreamed about him. Rhett Butler only made one other appearance in the Sailor Moon series, in episode 041. Endymion, who had been brainwashed and was working with the Dark Kingdom, was attempting to capture all seven former Nijizuishou carriers and trap them within the Kurozuishou. The Dark Kingdom hoped that although the former youma had been healed by Sailor Moon, they would be able to use their energy and the power of the Kurozuishou to transform them back into youma. After they were reunited, it was hoped that they would come together to form one extremely powerful youma to destroy the Sailor Senshi. Endymion was able to capture six of the seven former Nijizuishou carriers (including Rhett Butler) within the Kurozuishou before Sailor Mercury destroyed it. Once it was destroyed, those trapped inside were freed and were able to return to their normal lives. Name: Rhett Butler is sometimes called "Red Battler," though this is incorrect. While both "Red Battler" and "Rhett Butler" can be derived from the Romanization "Reddo Batorâ," it is more appropriate to refer to him as "Rhett Butler," due to the obvious pun. When Nagihiko remembers how much he loves basketball in his own rhythm, it hatches into the cool and outgoing, Rhythm. Although Rhythm makes Nagihiko do some embarrassing things, Nagihiko still loves him. In the anime, when Nagihiko Character Changes with Rhythm, he gets blue headphones around his neck as an aspect to this change and becomes more sporty and outgoing. But it also makes him fall way over his head. He can also be quite the flirt. This Character Change has the desire to play all kinds of sports, for example: basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, judo, etc. Because of this, he is late at the tea party at the royal garden (Which is something that he never did), so Nagihiko decides not to trigger this Character Change again. This Character Change represents Nagihiko's desire to be a boy. When Nagihiko Character Transforms with Rhythm, he becomes an outgoing and athletic character called "Beat Jumper"; a character who is capable of sports and basketball playing. This represents his love for basketball at his own pace. As Beat Jumper, Nagihiko wears a blue vest over two shirts: one white and short sleeved, one purple and long sleeved. Comes from the old noble of pure devils, the house of Gremory, a top-class devil who is called a genius nicknamed "Crimson Ruin Princess". Her brother is in fact one of the Yondai-Maou, Lucifer. Both of them possess the power of destruction. She revives Issei as her servant after finding him dead, killed by a fallen-angel and possessing a rare Sacred Gear. From her mother, Rias has inherited the Bael Clan's Power of Destruction. This power allows her to release energies that can disintegrate matter, both living and inanimate, with relative ease. Opponents who wield sufficiently greater power, however, can shield themselves from this. Rias has gained the ability to project a red light from her breasts, which recharges Issei's energy. Each use of this power causes her breasts to temporarily shrink in size, which makes Issei cry even though it's sometimes necessary. Her breast size will restore itself after a few days of rest. Rias has a lot of affection towards Issei from the start of the series, which seemed to have grown as the series progressed. This is highly attributed to the Gremory's tendency to have close relations with their servants as compared to other clans. Rias doesn't seem to mind allowing Issei to gaze on her naked body. Following the events of Volume 2, Rias falls madly in love with Issei and attempts to keep him away from the other girls who may have affections for him. This includes, but is not limited to, Akeno, Asia, Xenovia, Koneko, Irina, and Ravel. She loves him very much and is willing to do anything with and for him. In response, Issei will do anything to protect her, as he loves her just as much as she loves him. After being Issei's girlfriend, Rias begins to show more confidence in her relationship with Issei, no longer being easily jealous or angered by Issei being close to other girls like she previously does, even accepting Issei's dream of having a harem. She was completely heartbroken by the news of Issei's death and locked herself in her room, crying (which Sairaorg berates her for), but gained a great deal of hope when she found out that his spirit was still alive through his Evil Pieces. Despite hating being called the Switch Princess, Rias seems to only enjoy the title when she gives energy to Issei.".

After Alejandro had taken him in, Ribbons displayed loyalty and followed through Alejandro’s every command. He was charming and soft spoken; he was gifted with youthful charisma often compared to those of modern idols. However, beneath his innocent demeanor is a cunning megalomaniac. Ribbons chose to work with Alejandro after knowing he could use the latter’s desire to take over the world to accomplish his own plans. After Alejandro had died, Ribbons continued to manipulate, using Alejandro's legacy and Veda to guide the world according to his vision. It was a role he believed he deserved alone; the destiny to rule mankind as their Messiah. In the series, especially during Season 2, Ribbons displayed a superiority complex. He values his own qualities above that of others, especially humans. Ribbons described humanity as "foolish", an inferior species that are limited by their own values. Ribbons also described himself superior to other Innovades. He never thought of them as important, especially in Aeolia Schenberg’s Plan, when compared to himself. Viewing other people as mere tools and expendables, Ribbons does his way to manipulate them for his own purposes; after which, he leads them to their own demise, befitting his own entertainment. Overall, Ribbons displayed an extreme case of egotism; his confidence of himself is at the point of arrogance. Ribbons' hubris eventually lead to his downfall during the Battle of Lagrange 2. His underestimation of Regene Regetta and Tieria Erde eventually lead to latter's capture of Veda from Ribbons' grasp. Ribbons also badly underestimated Setsuna F. Seiei's abilities as the first genuine Innovator. He was eventually defeated in his last battle against Setsuna on the Innovator's colony ship, Celestial Being. Even in defeat, he never showed any interest in understanding humanity, even for the sake of Aeolia's Plan. Early Days: Ribbons is the very first Innovade to be produced under Celestial Being. The exact era when he was awakened is still in speculations however, though it's possible Ribbons was awaken before the solar wars. Because there's little information to confirm his activities and affiliations at the time, it's only presumed that he spent his early days in Celestial Being as a Gundam Meister within the Lagrange 3 colony, Krung Thep. The only thing known during his early days is that sometime before A.D. 2301, Ribbons was a Gundam Meister. During his days as a Gundam Meister, Ribbons learned many of the contradictions within the human nature. He eventually started to detest serving humanity for the sake of Aeolia Schenberg's Plan (leading humans to become true Innovators and prepare for the upcoming dialogues). Adding insult to injury, he learned that Gundam Meisters, like himself, are meant to perish during the effect of the Plan. He gradually lost his motivation to be Gundam Meister and hated his raison d’etre. Source: (gundam.wikia.com)".
