- spain description "Nation's name: Reino de España (Kingdom of Spain) Capital: Madrid Language: Spanish Birthday: February 12th National flower: Carnation Human name: Antonio Fernández Carriedo Height: Unknown Age: 25 (appearance) Almost always seen wearing a happy smile, Spain is a lush kingdom in southern Europe who prides himself on his warm climate, plentiful sunshine, and bountiful nature. He has somewhat curly brown hair, green eyes, and lightly tanned skin, but his skin tone is sometimes shown as fair or olive. In the past, he raised Romano (then Chibiromano). He wanted to take Italy (then Chibitalia), but ended up with Romano after Austria took him. It has been shown that he cared greatly for Romano and his wellbeing, despite Romano having seemingly bitter and negative feelings towards him. Spain cared about Romano so much, that he fought off France and Turkey (then the Ottoman Empire) just so that he could remain at his house. He also later spoiled Romano, just to show that he still cared about him when Romano thought that he liked Italy more. He taught Romano everything he knows, thus the reason for the many cultural similarities between the two. Even though Romano no longer lives with him, Spain is still very affectionate towards him to this day, and has a very big place in his heart for him. He has a strong attachment to Italy as well, and his ultimate dream is to have both Italy and Romano live together with him. In present times, his relationship with him continues to be very close, so much to the point where Italy still calls him “Spain-niichan” (Big Brother Spain). Also, Spain was the one that gave Italy his nickname “Ita-chan.” At one point, Belgium and the Netherlands also lived in his house. It is currently unknown what their present relationship with him is exactly like, but in the 2010 Christmas strip, the Netherlands was shown celebrating Christmas with Spain. Spain was allied with France and Prussia at one point, which is the reason behind why he is often depicted with those two. Fans refer to the three of them together as the “Bad Friends Trio,” “Bad Touch Trio,” or the “Useless Big Brother Trio.” According to the history, they were allied during the War of Austrian Succession, and was shown the three's loyalty towards each other. The three of them are closely related. Himaruya Hidekaz stated that the Bad Touch Trio are best friends. His personality is bright and optimistic, and he can be described, more or less, as a cheerful country bumpkin. He claims that the source of his happiness is the sun that shines over his land constantly. Despite this, it is said that he is very, very scary when angry, and that he sometimes comes off as insensitive and totally clueless. Spain also becomes sidetracked and enthused very easily. He used to be an extremely powerful nation who traveled around the world, but was then beat up by a young America, pirate England, and the Netherlands, sending him face first into poverty and wars, and stripping him of his super power status. But with his easy-going personality, he’s managed to get back on his feet over the years. His dishes consist mainly of tomatoes, tomatoes, and tomatoes, and sweets that are described as not being very sweet. ".

He defeated countless demons and their Emperor, Mundus before sealing the gateway to the demon world, sacrificing both his own blood and that of a mortal priestess. These actions made him a legend in the human world, gaining him the moniker, The Legendary Dark Knight Sparda though they also incurred a notorious reputation amongst demons, many of whom were defeated during his rebellion. After his death, most of Sparda's power was concealed in the demon realm, sealed inside his sword- the Sparda/Force Edge, and was only accessible with an amulet he took with him into the human world. This amulet, which can be separated into two parts, was also one of the keys needed to unlock the portal. All its abilities are deactivated if the halves are separated. Near the end of his life, Sparda settled with a human wife, Eva, and fathered twin sons, Dante and Vergil. He gave his amulet to Eva as a gift which she in turn later separated and passed to her sons. In the first Ape Escape game it was said that he was the main attraction at Monkey Park and he was the first monkey to put on a Peak Point Helmet though, unlike the other monkeys wearing one, it gave him special pyschic powers, made him able to speak human language and become extremely intelligent as well as evil. He tries to rule the world by using the Professor's time machine to send his monkey minions back in time in order to change history by having monkeys be the dominant species. He kidnaps and mind controls Jake though his plan is foiled by Spike who defeats and captures him, sending him back to Monkey Park where he becomes a regular monkey again. In the second game he finds another helmet after Jimmy accidentally sends some to Monkey Park. He then sends his monkey minions to different parts of the world and puts together The Freaky Monkey Five to stop Jimmy. Meanwhile, Specter works on building a weapon called the Lethargy Laser that will make all humans on Earth unwilling to fight against him. However he is again defeated and captured. He escapes, but is later recaptured. In the third game he works alongside Doctor Tomoki and tries to take over the world by using TV to turn all humans that watch it into a mindless couch potato. However Natalie is unaffected and she gets help. His partnership with Tomoki ends after he makes fun of Tomoki though he doesn't care as he can take care of the rest of his plan by himself. Later it is revealed to use a giant robot hand to split Earth in half, letting the monkeys rule one side and the humans fight over the other side. His plan is foiled by Kei and Yumi though he, along with the other four members of The Freaky Monkey Five, get rescued by Pink Monkey who was not captured. However he and The Freaky Monkey Five (including Pink) are soon recaptured by Kei and Yumi. He appears in Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed where he has again kidnapped and taken control of Jake's mind. He also appears in Ape Escape Million Monkeys and Ape Escape: SaruSaru Big Mission. Despite having minons do his dirty work for him, he is not a coward and will fight against the main character/characters of the game if he has to. He always fights using various forms of pyschic attacks. Despite his general hatred of humans, he does occasionally ponder about his owner. A recurring element of each game is that to fight Specter the player always to capture every monkey in every level before the final showdown with Specter. Also, in his first fight with the hero, he typically uses a large monkey themed robot suit, and fights using his own powers and his mechanical throne in the second fight. In the anime, he was a monkey named Kuuta (クータ?) who was owned by Natalie before he was transformed into Specter by the Pipotrons. He is generally seen sitting on a levitating throne, wearing a red cape, although in some games, he has taken to wearing a formal suit and bowtie. With authorizations issued by the SS, Spielberger managed to find passage onboard the U-boat U-1324 as it left the pens at Kiel; the boat already escorting Lt. Col Matsuda back to Japan-held Batavia in Indonesia (now Jakarta). Unlike Matsuda, who openly socialized with the U-1324 crew, Spielberger rarely left his quarters. But the only time he did, it was to voice his objection over Captain Wentzel Ahbe’s decision to torpedo a British carrier in the Indian Ocean, stating that doing-so would not change the war’s outcome. Ahbe was shocked to hear Spielberger’s tone of defeat, but continued the attack, stating that unless he heard from his superiors otherwise, he and his crew would continue to fight to the very end. The voyage was uneventful until the U-1324 was miles from their objective. There, the sub found that a U.S. Navy patrol was on the surface, searching for Japanese submarines. Despite firing a torpedo to divert the patrol away, one destroyer remained above, forcing Ahbe to take the U-boat into silent running. Then the destroyer used its active sonar, afterwhich it fired its depth charges, sending U-1324 into a nose-first dive to the ocean floor – one that it would never surface from. After learning from his surviving crewmembers about the dire circumstances of their situation, Ahbe relieved them of their duties to face death in their own way (Matsuda had already committed seppuku by then). After retiring to another part of the ship to contemplate his death, Ahbe met Spielberger, who demanded when they would be surfacing. After receiving the bad news, Spielberger then told Ahbe of his mission, which was to deliver the painting he was carrying and hide it until the Nazis were once again in power. By now Ahbe was disgusted by Spielberger’s defeat, and told him openly that maybe his sub’s sinking may have been God’s will for everything his crew sacrificed themselves for, as well as his disgust of having to share a coffin with the likes of the SS officer. Offended by what he saw as anti-Nazi statements, Spielberger then ordered Ahbe to retract everything he said, for which Ahbe continued to calmly rail at his antagonist. Finally, Spielberger took-out his Luger and shot Ahbe twice in the head, killing him. He then tried to commit suicide himself, but then the U-1324’s crew, hearing the shots, charged-in to get revenge for Ahbe’s murder. Spielberger managed to kill three of them before getting shot himself. (source: Absolute Anime) ".

- spike-spiegel description "Height: 185 cm (6' 1") Weight: 70 kg (155 lbs) Blood type: O Date of Birth: June 26, 2044 Planet of Origin: Mars Spike Spiegel is a tall and lean 27-year-old bounty hunter born on Mars. The inspiration for Spike is found in martial artist Bruce Lee who uses the martial arts style of Jeet Kune Do as depicted in Session 8, "Waltz For Venus". He has fluffy, dark green hair (which is inspired by Yusaku Matsuda's) and reddish brown eyes, one of which is artificial and lighter than the other. He is usually dressed in a blue leisure suit, with a yellow shirt and Lupin III inspired boots. A flashback in Session 6 revealed it was his fully functioning right eye which was surgically replaced by the cybernetic one (although Spike himself may not have conscious recollection of the procedure since he claims to have lost his natural eye in an "accident"). One theory is that his natural eye may have been lost during the pre-series massacre in which he supposedly "died". The purpose of this cybernetic eye is never explicitly stated, though it apparently gives him exceptional hand-eye coordination - particularly with firearms (Spike's gun of choice is a Jericho 941, as seen throughout the series). In the first episode, when facing a bounty-head using Red Eye, Spike mocks him, calling his moves "too slow". At first, this seems like posturing on Spike's part, but even with his senses and reflexes accelerated to superhuman levels by the drug, the bounty cannot even touch Spike. A recurring device throughout the entire show is a closeup on Spike's fully-natural left eye before dissolving to a flashback of his life as part of the syndicate. As said by Spike himself in the last episode, his right eye "only sees the present" and his left eye "only sees the past." Spike often has a bent cigarette between his lips, sometimes despite rain or "No Smoking" signs.".

He is extremely sad that his daughter hates him, but he still tries to be a good father by looking out for her in his own silly way. He used to be Dr. Franken's partner before partnering up with "Mama" who later became his wife (which obviously lead to the divorce). He still suffers nightmares about Dr. Franken trying to dissect him and has memories from college when he and Stein were roommates. His old name was Spirit.".

- spitfire description "Spitfire (スピット・ファイア, Supitto Faia) was the Flame King, and one of the last two members of the original Sleeping Forest still holding their titles at the beginning of the story. He is first seen in the series when ikki accidently went to a secret meeting that was going on with AT riders. He claimed that Ikki, being only an 'F' class rider, would only have a 1% chance of defeating Buccha, and was surprised by the result. In the anime, he is introduced in the first episode after watching the leader of the Skullsaders challenge Ikki to a battle. He is in control of three teams with 41, 68, and 86 members, and is a highly sought hair stylist in everyday life. His speed creates the illusion of flames due to the heat caused by the friction of his wheels on the ground. In recent chapters, he engaged Sora in an AT battle. During the fight, Sano joins in and saves Spitfire and the two challenge Nike. It is revealed that Spitfire is also able to stop time, similar to how Sano is able to, claiming that while Nike is the strongest of Genesis, he cannot break the flames of time. The fight drags on, and Spitfire comes to a conclusion that they cannot win. By his request, Sano then gives Spitfire enough time to grab Kazu and flee, forcefully giving Kazu the Flame Regalia. Shortly after returning to the battle, the two - Sano and Spitfire - are killed by Sora and Nike. Before his death, Spifire had foreseen this outcome and left a video explaining the true intentions of Genesis and how, after watching the fight between Kogarasumaru and Behemoth, he had been reminded that what he really wanted to do was fly freely in the sky. Spitfire had also predicted that Ikki would "lose his wings" due to Sora's betrayal and part of the reason for the video was to bring Ikki back to the AT world, at the end of the message Spitfire showed mild concern that his plan might not work. Spitfire (and the Flame Road in general) seems to be characterized by a flaming fox with nine tails, a reference to the Kitsune from Japanese Mythology. In the English dub, he has a cockney accent. Despite his death, Spitfire still helps out Kogarasumaru via the video he left to help train them for the Gram Scale tournament. However the video itself so accurately predicts what the individual members of Kogarasumaru will do that the team questions whether Spitfire is really dead.".

- spopovitch description "Once a massively tall, tough, bulky, and strong (for a human) man, he fought against Mr. Satan and lost in the previous World Tournament according to the anime. Babidi took control of his mind along with Yamu in the Buu Saga. Spopovich was then turned into an insane, powerful humanoid being. He was then sent by Babidi to collect energy at the 25th Tenka-ichi Budoukai. He fights Videl in the first round and vicariously takes his revenge on Mr. Satan by nearly beating her to death. He would have succeeded if Yamu didn't intervene with what was left of his humanity, reminding the brute that such cruelty is not necessary to their mission. Yamu and Spopovich team up on Gohan and, using a special device, they rob him of his energy, though it was Supreme Kai paralyzing Gohan before the attack that attributed to the ease of their task's completion. After completely draining him, they return to their master, Babidi, to deliver the energy to him. Babidi soon decides they have outlived their usefulness and causes him to explode in a slow and painful process.".
