- taisuku-fujiomi description "A Japanese boy with a wild look and an aggressive personality, not to mention something of a womanizer, he confronted Sasha soon after his appearance, revealing himself to be a powerful Qwaser, whose abilities initially surprised Sasha, as Taisuku apparently had his same powers, though he managed to use them better. He is indeed a Qwaser, but his element is neodymium, which allows him to control any kind of metal through magnetism, not by interacting to it at the molecular level. He is also very skilled in Buddhist incantations, as he is the sole heir of a family of sorcerers and shamans, and thus can create elaborate incantations or even Buddhist-related weapons. His explosive personality and his occasional foolishness harbor a dark secret however: as a child he was greatly traumatized when his mother was brutally raped in front of him, which led him to become mad with ideas of revenge and turn to a life of constant conflict, slowly drifting to senseless anger. His encounter with Mutsumi Sendou saved him, and the two became inseparable since then. Though initially antagonistic, Taisuku quickly became a valuable ally, though he was accused of raping Hana and had to fight Ekaterina, when Friederich Tanner pitted the two against each other. When angered, he fights with a murderous frenzy that makes him attack with blind fury, especially if it's Mutsumi who's in danger. (Source: Wikipedia)".

- taito-magatsu description "Among the Itt-ryū's finest swordsmen. Of peasant origin, he became a swordsman to avenge his sister, who was killed as a child by a samurai. Taito is one of the few swordsmen who has fought Manji and survived. He has also fought by Manji's side as well. He can be considered a kenshi, a swordsman who is not from the samurai class. His lover of sorts, a prostitute named O-ren was killed by Shira. He quit the Itt-ryū, although he is still friends with Anotsu. He ends up following Manji around due to the fact he knows Shira is after Manji. Although they argue a lot, Manji and Taito have a relatively friendly relationship. In the end Manji allows Taito to find Shira, and despite how much Shira wants to kill Manji, he lets Taito take him. Eventually Shira loses the one hand he had left to Taito and presumably falls to his death. Later concerned by something Shira said, Taito goes to meet up with Anotsu and eventually rejoins the Itt-ryū. Taito's weapon is a gladius-like triple-sectioned sword named Grand Turk. The main blade is a gladius, the second is a smaller, shorter sword hidden in the handle, the last is a spear-head like dagger hidden within the second blade. The sword is curiously missing a sword guard. First appears in Conquest part 1, first named in Fanatic part 1.".

The group take care of events from rebel raids to violence inflicted by officials. The group overestimated their strength and took on Keirou and in the end lost most of their people. Taitou, seeking revenge for his comrades, left on a journey to train up. In the manga, the Kenkaranbu was to be given to Taitou on his coming of age ceremony by Sonnei but it was seized by Shimei, turning the journey to that of the recovery of the sword. In the anime, the sword was taken by Keir after a fight between Taito and the general during the former's invasion of the temple. He is a young apprentice chef who joined the Marines in hope of finding the All Blue. Tajio had been apprenticed on his ship for six months; in that time, all he had done was wash dishes and peel some things. The episode takes place on a foggy day, the day the captains of his Marine fleet are expected to have curry for lunch, and the day his ship is supposed to make it. Tajio accidentally spills the curry on the floor, and when he apologizes to the chef, he is ordered to remake it himself. He tries several times, but never succeeds. He goes outside on the deck, and then falls from his ship when startled by the presence of the Straw Hat Pirates' ship passing close by in the fog bank. After coming to and trying a dish Sanji made, Tajio tells his story. Sanji accompanies him back to his ship with Luffy's help, then gives him some encouragement. Tajio realizes that he was expected to learn from the skills that the chef demonstrated in the kitchen, rather than receive instructions. He decides to try once more, and with his chef's advice in mind, along with a bit of help from Sanji – who tries his best to appear indifferent – to spark his memory, Tajio succeeds. Shortly after, Luffy gets spotted, and the two Straw Hats make a hasty retreat back to the Going Merry. Before he leaves, Sanji tells Tajio that he also believes in the All Blue. Tajio assists them in their escape by saying that he did not see anyone when asked by pursuing Marines. Later, when the curry is served, all the captains enjoy it greatly. The chef cryptically praises Tajio, then walks away. Tajio looks out the window and sees the Going Merry sailing away. He promises Sanji that he will work hard, and someday be as good as him.
