After she moved back to Tokyo, Kazama confessed his love to Yuzuki to her again, only this time he revealed that he doesn't have much left to live, and wants to spend the little time he has with Eba. After Kazama's funeral, Eba, perhaps feeling guilty about inadvertently contributing to his death, tells Haruto that it is best that they never see each other. Two years later she once again crosses path with Haruto. With every chance encounter, it becomes more apparent that Eba still has lingering feelings for him. Z explains things to Tenchi, including the story of Z's past. Ryo-ohki attacks Z and is destroyed. Ryoko then attacks Z to save Tenchi. To prevent her from being killed, Tenchi overcomes the Counteractor and places himself between Z's lighthawk wings and Ryoko. Tenchi is sliced open by Z's lighthawk wings, however, instead of dying, a huge burst of energy emerged from the wound. Z was easily destroyed by this surge of Tenchi's power. Z had been so blinded by hatred and anger at what Tokimi (and indirectly Tsunami and Washu) had done to him, combined with his jealousy of Tokimi's clear interest in Tenchi that he failed to notice that even after eliminating Tenchi's lighthawk wings, Tenchi still survived in the cold vacuum of space. Shinobi World War Arc In preparation for the Fourth Shinobi World War, Zabuza is resurrected by Kabuto Yakushi to fight against the Allied Shinobi Forces, before being mobilised alongside Haku, Gari, Pakura and Toroi. Overhearing Zabuza as he told Haku that they were no longer in the afterlife, Gari informs them of their current situation, infuriating Zabuza because he didn't want to obey someone who would stoop so low as to use the dead. Ambushed by the Surprise Attack Division, Haku protects them both from the explosive tags carried by Sai's ink birds, but Zabuza calls it unnecessary once he observes the others regenerating. This irritates Zabuza further, who remarks that not only were they brought back, they were also made impossible to kill. Stating that he was the only one amongst his group to not possess a Kekkai Genkai, Zabuza storms the recently grounded opposition but is intercepted by Kakashi, whom he didn't expect to fight again.
